Hecky got away with one mid-week if I would haVe produced a team like that in my line up i would have got a 20 page thread of abuse by derekacorah Drunk blade sitwell Blend-it-like-Harris

He got lucky after WBA/Livermore gifted us the game , we cant carry on hoping for luck playing a Right back at Left Back with Jackie log throw is a recipoe for disaster IMO so i would bring RND back and Davies if he is Fit

Sandy Burger has to play because he is about 20X better than hourihane and Norwood as they showed againswt WBA when they were dominated as they usually are when any half decent team puts a slight bit of pressure on them

Barndoor Bill will be making his first start of the season as he has finally put his boots on the right way round and learnt how to finish (from open play) Oli mac deserves a a start as he has looked very good from the bench

Ndiaye deserves a rest and looked knackered V Brum

If OGS hadn't scored in 28 league games off the bench, Fergie would have fired him back to Norway out of a cannon. McBurnie needs to make more of a goalscoring impact off the bench. If Moose was motivated I'd want him coming off the bench instead of McBurnie. But he's in Italy getting outlasted by old man Ribery. If Sharp is fit, he should start ahead of McBurnie.

We've played twenty eight league games, McBurnie has scored in none of them (Hecky and Slav have given him sixteen runouts) and would probably be behind Brewster if he wasn't injured and Moose if he gave a shit. One cup goal against Southampton reserves justifies picking McBurnie ahead of Sharp week after week. Ok.

I think any 2 of our 4 hourihane/fleck/Norwood/Berge could play as a 2 IMO

Though i think Berge is better than the other 3 and should be the first name in midfielder

Will be interesting to see whether it’s is a flat 3 or MGW in the 10 ?


I think a 3 of MGW -Berge -Fleck would be top drawer

Agreed, it's a nice headache to have with the four of them.

I'd guess we'll start with MGW higher up but I have to admit I haven't seen much of Huddersfield this season and Hecky seems to try and pick a team to target weaknesses and negate strengths of our opponents. Haven't seen it mentioned much on here but WBA's most dangerous player Diangana was totally nullified (the one chance aside) by George on Tuesday as he kept cutting in onto Baldock's stronger foot.

Maybe but it still worries me that every time we have the ball on the left hand side now we can’t play down there because we have Robinson who can’t pass and baldock who isn’t left footed
