League one wes (by default)

Bogle ---- Bash ---- Egan-----Stevens -- RND

---Sandy Burger ------------ --Fleck --------

-------------------Ndiaye ----------------------

-------------Didz------------Brewster------

After that Sh@t show at pride park hopefully hecky will ring the changes

Surely Sharp/Robinson have to be dropped , if they aren't I will be watching Emmerdale on +1 and checking FotMob

Id keep RND in as he deserves a run at LWB and enda has played LCB before and done well there , picking players for one game then bombing them back out the side for months doesn't help players especially young ones either give them a run or loan them out

Berge has to play because he is our best player by a mile i dont care if he was poor Saturday him been poor is better than Oli No tackles who plays one cross-field ball a match and everyone thinks Hes Pirlo.

Sharp should be at anger management classes instead of playing tomorrow the bloke should concentrate his efforts on the pitch if he spent half of the energy as he did towards the OAP who got him rattled than the derby CB's we might have got a result at the weekend

All joking aside its becoming a joke that we play sharp 90 mins every week he has 4 goals in 24 from open play this season that's poor by anyone's standards

Bombscare wes in goal by default as for some reason the club think its a good idea to let the best two keepers go and make the worst one our number one

So we drop our top goal scorer? No dipstick ever does that, surely!

Leaving Sharp out isn't necessarily a stupid idea for once since he ended up miles off the pace when he had to play three games a week earlier in the season and Brewster had started to look decent before his injury. Managing Billy's minutes makes sense and he should be straight back in the starting line-up against Luton.

Stevens at LCB is a more alarming suggestion, when he's about the only person who makes Robinson look vaguely competent in that position.

I’m not advocating putting Stevens there, but his performance in that very position against West Brom away in the promotion season was among the finest I have ever seen in a Blades shirt. He was utterly immense.

Personally I'd bench Mcgoldrick.
I find him much more useful as an impact player of late.
He looked way off it against wolves and Derby.
Leggy is one word to describe it.
I would play brewster and NDIAYE up top,and let the latter float around midfield and play the false 10.
We need some pace upfront.

We should play Wes, alone. That way we'll find out if he's really up to it or not.
We need answers. 🤔

4 goals in 24 from open play Hes there by default because we played with one striker for the majority of the season and slav refused to play anyone else

Even when he looks off it he shows for the ball and doesn't go hiding like

He looked poor because he was the only player trying to make things happen getting on the ball

Nope

We sign up for better or worse. We have to deal with it.

As I've got older (much older than i once was) experience plays a massive part on ones mindset and expectations.

I really love reading this forum and contributing to it , sometimes seriously , most often than not in a tongue in cheek way.

I reflect on some posts , from younger (I'm trying hard not to be condescending here) people i would imagine and hear and feel their anger / frustration and undying optimism and i think to myself - that was me and my mates all those years ago. Questions and posts such as - when are we going to sign someone? ....we need to offload x & y and then reinvest....we will leave it until the last minute again ...etc etc . Us older , been there , felt that, said same, types are just going along with the ride that is Utd . It has forever been the same and i`m absolutely convinced it will never change.

Doesn't stop people dreaming and getting emotionally charged, but come on . We are once again treading water with an owner who hasn't got the funds , has sanctioned what we did have , is left with a cash guzzling broken & poorly designed entity and has lost interest. No club could have screwed up and internally combusted so quickly and to such an extent than we did . Not withstanding the pandemic. We are just not designed to be sustainable. We don't have the holy grail cocktail of true financial clout , the long term interest of the owner , the vision to plan a growth path that combines growing our own, keeping the best of them and adding real time improvement value to the first team to take us forward - from our own academy and from outside, a manager who truly gets us but can also evolve and modernise us.

We have had elements of the above from time to time and that has seen us do what we have done during our high points - but not all of the above which is needed to be sustainable .

At the moment we are and will really suffer over the next few years ,because we have been designed to fail . Its not hard.

But we hope that things will change they have before - but just enjoy the ride
