A poor perofrmance from HMS Hecky the other night maybe he is not the second coming of Pep Guardiola as some think ?

Are the wheels about to fall off ? 1 point in 2 games is relegation form

I would be changing formation for this game and playing 4-3-3

My only message to hecky is please please do not start Billy sharp over brewster if Mcburndog is injured and how about playing your forward players in forward positions instead of playing khadra at Centre Back

McBurnie suspended, 4-3-3 just doesn’t work for us particularly away from home.

It will be a tough challenge, after the last 2 results - hopefully we can get our momentum back. I see this as a draw though.

Not expecting to see Berge or Baldock. Anel probably not either but this could be a bluff from PH.

If Anel is OK to go would expect RND to move to LWB and perhaps have it that Khadra replaces Bogle at the 60min mark as he will be tired by then.
If he isn't available then I'd expect us to switch to back for at that point in the game regardless of score. Or bring on Gordon instead and shift Basham to RWB.

Wes
Bogle/Khadra, Basham, Egan, RND, Bogle/Khadra,
Norwood, Doyle,
McAtee,
N'Diaye, Brewster/Sharp

I'm just gonna refer to FallowfieldBlade as Adrian now. Very much like Adrian Durham in that stuff posted is purely to get a rise from people.

Anyway, FWIW. I'd say there's literaly only 2 options tomorrow for defence and both use our standard 3-5-2

Wes
Basham - Egan - RND
Bogle - Norwood - Doyle - Khadra
McAtee
Ndiaye - Brewster/Sharp

or...

Wes
Gordon - Egan - Basham
Bogle - Norwood - Doyle - RND
McAtee/Khadra
Ndiaye - Brewster/Sharp
I have a sneaky feeling that Anel will play though.

I reckon the Anel thing is a bluff.

It will be this IMHO:

Wes
Anel Egan Bash
Bogle Norwood Doyle RND
Khadra N'Diaye
Sharp

That said he could fancy a wildcard of McAtee in place of N'Diaye and N'Diaye in place of Sharp.

Their back three is Fox of Wednesday-(non)fame, Jagielka and Wilmott. If this doesn't ask for a mobile tricky forward line, then I don't know what does. No point hoofing it. Can Sharp out-wile the wily Jagielka or do we get Khadra, N'Diaye and McAtee to tie them on knots.

If Anel plays I think we win.

More important than the result in this one is no more injures, that’s why I would not risk Anel coming back if he’s not 100% or risk Blowing up Bogle who is clearly not 100 % yet either.

I know it’s asking a lot of the side I have suggested to get anything from this one but a defeat here would not be the end of the world, we would be no worse than third and with a very winnable home game to come with hopefully more players back to fitness.

Starting sharp when we have that many attacking options is criminal IMO

Really tricky team to pick with so many missing.

Slight change of shape.
It's a little bit all over the shop at the minute.
Would take a point.

It's rare that a team does not gothrough a bad run, normally due to injuries/suspensions.

If this is ours, and we can come out of this game at Stoke with something which should keep us in the top 2 then that would be a good situation going forward for a few weeks going into the World cup long break.

Let's hope that following the world cup we have some players back fit, and dont suffer the hang-over we normally do following a break.

Other than that, I'm happy being in the mix at the top, and I still think we'll pull away again towards April/May

Berge > Khadra and Bogle > Gordon and you’ve got 11/11

Reckon McAtee is better wide than Khadra? And vice versa?
On the limited bits we've seen, maybe. At least he's a natural left footer. He can definitely cross

Another factor for me is playing him close to Doyle, there's surely some good chemistry there, I can smell it

Whatever team we put out should be capable of scoring twice. Defensively, fuck knows. A couple of weak line ups could ruin our great record
