Excellent response from Derby County F.C.

I hope it makes sense to those on here who couldn't see the point in responding to this type of odious behaviour. Named and shamed, it's the least he deserved. Once again, well done the Rams, all credit to your stand and I hope other clubs follow your lead.

that'll teach the gobshite and hand out a warning to anybody in future for this kind of disgusting comment without any conscience of thought..

I wont hold my breath though.

Looked like quite a young man from his Twitter picture.

That's going to be a fun conversation with his mum and dad.

Little shit.
Would have rather Sharp hunted him down Curtis Woodhouse style and gave him a kick'in, but this is a close second.

Good, now for the twat that threw a bottle at him.

Bloody hell, Derby County didn't fuck about there. They have my utmost respect for taking this hardline stance. As do the Derby fans who unanimously disowned the little twat.

I was initially hoping he'd get a kicking but to be honest, if I was banned for life from United that'd be far worse than getting decked.

Hit the bastard where it hurts.

what on derbys countys reaction to the outrage

anyway he can go and watch burton like some other derby fans

ps theres a y on the end of actuall

Well spotted. I must bow to your command of the English language and grammar.

I admit it's passed me by before....

Now how's your simple division?

Let's just remember what we've all posted here as and when one of our own does the same thing.
Let's not hear it being justified as just banter or a bit of fun just because it's a Blade dishing.
I detest social media twattery with a passion and maybe some will learn a bit of a lesson from this although I suspect not.

Pity we couldn't act as quickly to identify and deal with the spitter at Boro the other week.

A lifetime ban is a big sentence to police. Not sure how Derby can enforce this over all the years ahead. Agreed, seems a bit excessive for a moment of "bonky madness" as they say.

Maybe a bit harsh, but never going to have sympathy for someone that had it in them to post/say such hateful things.

Well done DCFC, will be interesting to see what the pigs do to several grunters who will no doubt post simular bile when Billy scores a couple against them?
Kind of agree that life time ban is a bit harsh tho. We've all bashed away with our fingers only to regret it the following morning, mine was normally round the back of club WOW about 2 in the morning. (a discotheque in the early 2000's for the youthful among you)

All of you thinking of teaming piss down on the Wednesday fans at the Bramall lane end think again.........it's not a nice thing to do and you could be banned for life! Please act responsibly.

Well done Derby, all clubs should follow suit with any anti behaviour from fans, that guys comment put himself, his family and his club to shame.
Some may think its harsh to give him a lifetime ban but posts like that just promote anti behaviour unless the action is punished, the stronger the punishment the less likely someone else is going to do something similar.

Just wondered, How do they actually enforce this? Do they have a list of all those banned for life? Has anyone here received a ban but carried on attending? Surely in a few months it will all be forgotten and he will go again

He's been made an example of. Far to many people feel they're invincible when online.

Well done Derby County, if the club of the first supporter to do this had taken this action we would not be talking about this now. The bar has been set.

I really doubt that. And I'll tell you why...because the type of folk who do this kind of thing are just plain thick and they won't take notice of this case and think..."oh, I'd better not do that then", because they aren't capable of computing such a thought.

I don't know what possesses any human being to wish such bad things on another - it's degrading. But there seems to be degrees of it amongst many football fans. How many of you on here have been brainwashed into thinking that Wednesday fans are some kind of sub-human scum and will be chanting things like "Die piggy Die" when we play them?

It's easy to forget decent human values when you get caught up in a cult. And if you're not the sharpest knife in the box to begin with then these things are always likely to happen.

I was thinking the same thing.

What is to stop the bloke attending with a bogey identity, a false name?

I hope they have some kind of family season ticket so that he can't hide it :D. Can just imagine my reaction to my son doing something like this
