They were at home and needed to win to have a chance of the play offs. Surely they should have been working out how to break us down?
It's a better point for us than them
They did a job on us, and for most of the games stopped us overlapping, and when we did, they crowded the box.
They worked us out. Job for on for Tufty.

I'd say it's equally as shite.

Any other team in that position apart from the grunters, and we should be expecting to go there and win easily.
So you expect us to go to Preston away and win easily?
How? That's their season over whilst it's in our own hands to get automatic promotion. Automatic fucking promotion!
How is their season over?
Yes[/QUOTE
I can see why you're upset then. In the real world a point at Preston will be decent too.
They stopped us playing it out from the back, then they won a lot of first and second long balls. There are a few teams have managed to do it this season and it’s difficult to get any kind of flow when they do. Good tactics from Bruce.
Fair result IMHO tonight. They were very much hustling United all over and high up the field, albeit without quality. One decent chance for either side so it could have been 1-1...We didn't play our usual flowing and intricate passing stuff and especially in the final third. Too panicky with the ball.
For me Madine should have not started and been the impact player from the bench instead.
When it got to last 20 would have had Duff on to hold the ball, use some nous and wait for the opening .
Nonetheless some positives in there. Back 3 solid again, bar 1 clear chance. Cranie like a man possessed when he came on. No bookings despite it being a full blooded derby on a slick pitch.
My biggest complaint was i thought Fleck let runners go too many times and Dowell was looking to get rid as soon as he got it
Either way a decent away point at a European footballing powerhouse. Now 2 winnable home games and need those 6 points
Thank God that is over for another season!
yes agreed - but it's not tactics to win a game, but of course, it's their perogative to play how they want.
yet another 0-0 victory for them.
UTB
I’d be a mostly happy grunter tonight, albeit possibly rueing that a snatched victory was within their grasp.
Definitely two points dropped for us.
I don't feel robbed of the win, as I have with the last 2 0-0 against them.
Madine scores and it's a different game. Same with Hutchinson. Overall a fair result.
Now go and beat Rotherham and Brentford and a point is a decent result in this game.
