Fair play to the pigs

They did a job on us, and for most of the games stopped us overlapping, and when we did, they crowded the box.

They worked us out. Job for on for Tufty.

So pleased for them . another victory for anti-football. Piggies all over the world must have a nice warm fuzzy feeling in their bellies tonight. If I had to watch that negative bollocks week in and week out I would name that feeling Nausea.

Well, they worked out how to stop us playing on their OWN patch in front of their OWN fans with 41% possession.

It's easy to know how to stop a team playing - very simple in fact, so well done to them for that.

Play Offs? deluded as ever.

Fair result IMHO tonight. They were very much hustling United all over and high up the field, albeit without quality. One decent chance for either side so it could have been 1-1...We didn't play our usual flowing and intricate passing stuff and especially in the final third. Too panicky with the ball.

For me Madine should have not started and been the impact player from the bench instead.
When it got to last 20 would have had Duff on to hold the ball, use some nous and wait for the opening .

Nonetheless some positives in there. Back 3 solid again, bar 1 clear chance. Cranie like a man possessed when he came on. No bookings despite it being a full blooded derby on a slick pitch.

My biggest complaint was i thought Fleck let runners go too many times and Dowell was looking to get rid as soon as he got it

Either way a decent away point at a European footballing powerhouse. Now 2 winnable home games and need those 6 points

Thank God that is over for another season!

Well I felt we were worfull .
if thats how we are going to play for the rest of the season we are going no where. (by the way I don't mind where we are after 6 years in oblivion) but when McGoldric came on totaly different side.
Should'nt have started with the washing machine.

I don’t see what’s so objectionable about recognising that the pigs stopped us playing our game. Other teams could learn from that pigs performance tonight.

They stopped us playing it out from the back, then they won a lot of first and second long balls. There are a few teams have managed to do it this season and it’s difficult to get any kind of flow when they do. Good tactics from Bruce.

If I was upset Roygbiv , this post probably wouldn’t be entitled “Fair play to the pigs”

yes agreed - but it's not tactics to win a game, but of course, it's their perogative to play how they want.

yet another 0-0 victory for them.

Sums it up. Shows Bruce isn't a bad manager. Thought we were better, they had the best chance but 0-0 is probably fair. Not the end of the world at all.

I don't feel robbed of the win, as I have with the last 2 0-0 against them.

Madine scores and it's a different game. Same with Hutchinson. Overall a fair result.

Now go and beat Rotherham and Brentford and a point is a decent result in this game.

I’d be a mostly happy grunter tonight, albeit possibly rueing that a snatched victory was within their grasp.

Definitely two points dropped for us.

I hate when people on forums just post ‘pig’ as an accusation at anyone that posts something negative. It’s crazy and disrespectful.

However pal, you’re the worst Wednesday fan in disguise I’ve ever seen on this forum. Please go and rub some balls on owlstalk about how you won another 0-0 derby. So sad.

Fair result given the respective teams performances, but we should see that as two points lost.

don’t think they stopped us , we stopped ourselves by playing long to accommodate Madine.
We had more possession when mcgoldrick came on for longer periods.
