Risky. Loan with option to return should he have Tom Davis-itis, then maybe. Having said that, Chong, Donovan, even Seriki on the right might make this redundant, especially if we're stretching a meagre budget to other, more pressing areas of the squad.

I don't like replacing players with loans but if we sold Hamer and got this guy in on loan I could deal with that.

I also don't think we have a chance in hell with this one unfortunate.

Don't know Keith Andrew's has now got good ties with us and knows he'll get looked after here , imagine a circulating front 4 of hamer, Donovan, ohare and carvallo ( mind blowing 🤯)
 
I can see Keith Andrews eventually taking over here. Whether that ties is with us progressing to the PL and being competitive or Brentford struggling and parting ways … I’m not sure.
 



He’s another coming back from injury; cruciate ligament tear. Transfermarkt says due back 1st September.

That being said, his Championship record is a bit ridiculous really!

1st spell at Fulham; 36 games. 19 goals, 10 assists, 2,839 minutes. So a goal every 149 minutes, an assist every 283 minutes, so a goal contribution every 97 minutes!

2nd spell at Hull from the JTW; 20 games. 9 goals, 2 assists, 1,726 minutes. A goal every 191 minutes and an assist every 863, but still makes a goal contribution every 156 minutes.

Taking Hamer’s overall record, 31 goals, 44 assists in 15,297 minutes. A goal every 493 minutes and an assist every 347, so a goal contribution every 203 minutes.

Combining the two stints, Carvalho has a goal contribution every 157 minutes, made up of a goal every 240, more than twice as prolific as Gus and an assist every 455, one third worse.

Another IF fit he’d be an excellent replacement for Gus. He really does put numbers on the board and at 23 he’s far younger.
 
Can't see this one. Exotic name. Widely regarded as being good. Southern European International. These are not things that happen to Sheffield United. On the other hand, injury record, sooooo maybe?

I'm as negative as they come but those three would definitely put us in playoff contention
