So where do you drink in Sheffield pal?

And was it just an off-night for the youngsters?, we usually put up more of fight than that.
It was an off night, caused by an on night for a v good Derby side.
I don't really have a place I drink in Sheffield, depends how I feel & where fancy goes.
I love Shakespeare's. Rutland Arms if I'm around the Lane & can get at it. Ale Club on Eccy Rd has been a recent favourite. I live near The Rising Sun on Fulwood Rd, that has it's moments. I do a lot of Day Tripping, so get to places outside Sheffield.
You?

All the places you mention, pretty much, as well as Broomhill and Kelham Island. Blind Monkey had a few decent beers on last time I went in. Itchy Pig is always good. Ale Club is always good. Beer House not bad, Portland House hit and miss (for me), but they are all not bad for pre-post footy. Beer Engine always has a few decent ones on.

If you are a Rising Sun regular (ish) did you know "Jess"?, I thought it was nice of Abbeydale to create the special beer mats for him when he died, and rename "Moonshine", just for the day.

Rising Sun is my local at home too. My only complaint about it is the Abbeydale heavy pump ratio but I can forgive them for that!

Wilder's local too, the Sun. No Peroni on tap though.

Ball_Sup (Phil) ... What's your carrier bag of choice? Must admit I'm partial to an Asda one myself. I find the Tesco's deteriorate too quickly. What say you?
The Carrier Bag Firm are committed supporters of the single use carrier bag charge. Since the 5p/10p regulations were enacted, most Baggers have zoned in to one bag of choice. Some, as is perfectly acceptable, have stuck to an Old Skool Placcy Bag from one of the major high street robbing bastard retailers. Others have adopted a "bag for life" approach. I myself have binned off the idea of ANY sort of Carrier Bag, in the sense of something you carry in your hand. I do NOT collect any memorabilia, so my own need for a bag is limited anyway. I now use a small rucksack. Times change. I used to be in The London Blades, I was one of Goodison's Guerillas (but never in the Gorillas), I was on David Spencer's Tours.
I might no longer carry a bag - but, I will always be CBF.
Thanks for asking....
