Its about time we had a semi final FA Cup been a long time coming. This year is turning out to be our year. Liverpool may be romping home with the title but it will also be remembered for a little team in Sheffield that gave the PL a kick up the arse.

For all my optimism this season, this is the one I’ve been most cautious about, not wanting one the first team to take a knock from lower league opposition.

But now, looking at the remaining league fixtures and strength of our bench, let’s give it 100%.

5 years ago the thought of a trip to Reading mid-week would be a sad thought. ( would have still gone but not with any hope ) now I find myself pressing buy at 9am tomorrow. I’ve even booked an overnight. Who would have thought it.! It’s got our name on it ! ( the room booking that is !)

Do we go for it FA Cup wise and possibly compromise the rest of the league season or give Besic and Freeman K and L as well as Osborne and the new signings a run out? At the moment I feel we have a better chance in the league to get a good final position whereas we would come up against Citeh or full strength Liverpool in the last three rounds. Also would keep the squad guys sharp and still go for the win.

That’s enough, with some 1st string players on the bench for Reading.
After that, any team who don’t play full strength in the quarters are disrespecting the club, the fans and the competition, in my opinion.
