Port Vale at home please.....if Sat is anything to go by. Failing that Crewe away so we can sample the BEST RUBY EVER afterwards in the Passage To India just round the corner from the ground.

moved to another temporary home thats older and less attractive than Kidderminsters newer stadium to some players, a lot of players left during the summer meant a new lot came in and needed time to bed in and get going, the wage budget was tightened up as well which meant scratching around for players later in the summer as the bigger budgeted teams snaffled the better targets.

things looked bleak after 8 games in as we hadnt won but then we turned the corner a bit and went unbeaten for 6, but crashed out vs Brackley in the Cup having beaten them away 2-0 in the league only the week before was disappointing. And theyre in the first round so it could so easily have been us again for the 3rd year in a row, a missed opportunity.

yesterday we beat Stalybridge 4-0, theyre relegation fodder this season its looking but we're starting to look like we can play a bit now so maybe next season if the team sticks together things will be brighter again Cup run wise.
Is there any hope of a permanent ground for you then?

that is the million $ question 1973Blade

the latest news on it was put out the other day...

http://www.worcesternews.co.uk/spor...swell_stadium_bid_set_for_December_decision_/

we're not holding our breath on it though, it feels like we're being strung along and the money what we have left will just run out in a few seasons.
There are other noises about moving to Worcester Warriors rugby stadium too but again there's the finances side of it all so who knows.

I hope you get the ground your club deserves :)

Don't ya just now , It's going to be away to , Exeter , Plymouth , Carlise , Newport , or some other far flung hole that'll cost a fucking fortune , Carlise and Newport being 2 of my fav away trips , 1-0 loss and 3-0 win at Carlise , and a 4-0 whipping at Newport , and scrapping with the smoggies playing Swansea away that day .

Solihull Moors away for me . The better half's family are all from and still live in Solihull and her cousin plays for them so a great draw for me selfishly , plus I would definitely get a ticket with my paltry 16500 points!
As ever UTB!!!
Watched them on BT couple of weeks ago. Looked like a tidy side. Marcus Bignot seems destined for bigger things. Two or three good young players, Asante, Sterling and Osbourne (I think), who I'd also expect to have league careers.

It would be interesting to see the answer to the same question asked to everyone else.

Wouldnt mind a game like westfields fc from 9th tier away could be hilarious. With the ticket situation. With just a 2000 capacity. But same as every year local non league side away would be good but like every season it will just be some boring uninspiring L1 tie like oldham away

JonnyRed(WCFC) what happened to Worcester knocked out 2nd qualifying rd if im not mistaken

just means i have to keep reminiscing and playing the Coventry and Scunny videos for another year haha!

Have the Blades ever been beaten by a non-league side in a proper game?

Dont quote me, but i believe the last time we failed to make the 3rd round 34years ago was against Altrincham which must been a non league side as dont believe Altrincham have ever played in the football league

In modern times we once scraped past rushden & diamonds 6-5 on penalties

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.This is Herefordshire is it not? I am expecting cider not commercial pop!

sorry your lordship!!

hmm...well there is the Cider Museum in Hereford worth a visit.

there's this cider local to Hereford as well, but whether it will go down well is another matter...

Yep. That's ok. I am now on the fourth Westons oak aged 2015 Vintage 8.2% which means I will (a) become increasingly belligerent and abusive or (b) disappear from this site temporarily tonight due to becoming comatose or (c) end up as one of those "bye bye and RIP Blades" caused by my own stupidity of drinking too much.

Some great producers in Herefordshire. In particular my favourite Gwatkins. NNx
