alas Worcester went out the last round so no lucky draw for us this year but still some local interest with neighbours Kidderminster and Westfields from tier 9 still going strong having won 6 rounds (enough for teams coming in now to win the Cup!!)

Solihull Moors away for me . The better half's family are all from and still live in Solihull and her cousin plays for them so a great draw for me selfishly , plus I would definitely get a ticket with my paltry 16500 points!

What went wrong for Worcester this season?

moved to another temporary home thats older and less attractive than Kidderminsters newer stadium to some players, a lot of players left during the summer meant a new lot came in and needed time to bed in and get going, the wage budget was tightened up as well which meant scratching around for players later in the summer as the bigger budgeted teams snaffled the better targets.

things looked bleak after 8 games in as we hadnt won but then we turned the corner a bit and went unbeaten for 6, but crashed out vs Brackley in the Cup having beaten them away 2-0 in the league only the week before was disappointing. And theyre in the first round so it could so easily have been us again for the 3rd year in a row, a missed opportunity.

yesterday we beat Stalybridge 4-0, theyre relegation fodder this season its looking but we're starting to look like we can play a bit now so maybe next season if the team sticks together things will be brighter again Cup run wise.

he being Worcesters hero in our Cup runs for the previous coupla years and kept the score respectable for 80 odd minutes last year at BDTBL!
