On a scale of 1-5 how exciting was todays game. 1 better off at Meadowhall 5 made me want to renew.

I'll go for 2, the first 20 mins were good after that it was was obvious we were heading for a draw. We were poor the dingles were worse.

Play some kids against Coventry we need some pace.

felt we were good and looked promising till Ward got injured! Morgs and Nosworthy had good games. hendo was shit. Didn't notice cresswell at all. Thought our fans were piss poor too if i'm honest...you know it's drab when wednesday loosing only gets a murmur!

Erm, a 2 for me. Raised from 1.5 due to the idiot on the Kop - what was going on there? - in the second half. Thought United were on top but wouldn't have scored if we'd still been playing now. Had 0-0 written all over it as soon as - whisper this quietly - our best player in the first 20 minutes other than Little went off injured - Jordan Stewart. Thought he was causing the Reds issues down the left up to his injury.

Season over apart from a win at the Sty hopefully.

Let down by some poor finishing
Why do we not play Cresswell in more?
I watched him closely today and he was always making runs but nobody would pass to him or put a through ball on for him.
It didn't help that their defender wanted to beat him up all the time and even had him in a headlock which the ref missed only for the linesman to tell him to give a yellow.
Think Henderson has been told to calm down and cut out the phyisical stuff which appears to make him totally ineffective

Because none of our midfielders except Little can make that pass ... And Little plays the opposite side. Yeates would have hit the first man and/or run into someone first; Quinn would have tried to flick it backwards with a pirhouette first; Monty would have more chance of finding Cresswell with a pass if Cresswell was running along the Hillsborough pitch.

Decent match despite Barnsley struggling in the final third and united coming up against a suprisingly solid back 5.

3/5 for me.

The atmosphere was a lot better than it has been and we were unfortunate not to win.

Nosworthy and Little were our best players. When you see Little play like that it really is hard to see why he's been left out of so many games. He's a class act. I'm surprised that when his legs were working properly, he didn't play for England or at least at the top level for a longer period. I think he was too loyal to Burnley.

I konw the finishing was poor to say the least, but 4 out of 5? You are easily pleased. I accept that the atmoshphere was better than it has been, but if matches like us v the Arse when Jags went in goal was a 5 then how the hell can you rate Saturday's performance a 4? If you are this easily pleased would you like to buy my car? Only thirty grand to you sir.

But I did enjoy it and thought we tried to play fast passing football with the dingles being, I felt, overly physical in stopping us
