we all have recollections of collapses , as do most clubs ,
we are different as fans as we remember defeats for years and years and years and years and years
we forget games we turned round

our first thought is always it going wrong
its like pesch goal never happened
we must have won as many from losing positions as weve lost from winning
our overall league record says so

Maybe you're right, and 10 men often beat 11 men
But I don't remember teams losing to 10 men when they're already 2-0 up
A Sheffield United exclusive I'd like to bet

It's a bit like the time we were 2-0 up at home to Leeds in injury time and still managed to draw 2-2

There's a handful of clubs that stuff like this happens to and we are definitely one of them,
A game is never ever safe no matter what the situation

I'd say Hartlepool are another, Jeff Stelling understands this all too well as you can see on his Soccer Special programme

Although not unbelievable circumstances I remember Norwich away in the first game of our second season in the top flight in the early 90's

We are controlling the game and winning 1-0
We add a second late on and think it's all over
Norwich score two in the last five minutes to get a draw.

I'm convinced to this day that if we'd not got the second goal we'd have won 1-0

Didn't Spurs lose a ridiculous lead to ten man Man City a few years ago?

I'd sooner BDTBL be in total silence than listen to some of the unimaginative drivel we seem to call "football songs" these days.

I work 90% of Saturdays in an environment where you're not allowed your phone on you. So naturally I keep my phone on me and check the score every 10 minutes.

remember wednesday losing to 10 man plymouth 3-2 year before we joined them in league one
newcastle retrieving a 4-0 deficit to draw 4-4 with Arsenal stands out
we were 3-0 down at wigan and drew 3-3
and 3-0 down at swindon and drew 5-5

Go to very few away games (none this season) so, I usually spend Sat afternoon with 'er indooowers'. This means as soon as I look at my phone I get a bollocking! This is until 4:50 when I THEN WEAR THE TROUSERS AND TELL HER IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS...please may I check the final score, sweetheart?
Working your way up to Beta male , you go , my son

Obviously I am rarely at games so spend most weekends following via Twitter. Today I was at a very poor Irish premier league game played in very cold blustery conditions. You can imagine my delight when the blades scored so late. Bringing a couple of mates over to the game next weekend. Absolutely buzzing. Can't wait.

I don't do away games anymore as my 64 year old legs are knackered but go to every home game. The thing is, i seem more relaxed at the match than sat at home when we play away. I sit in front of the computer watching Sky news, saturday live on BBC and live text as it happens on here, so i have 3 or 4 tabs open switching from one to the other and getting in a right old state! It should be exciting waiting for the goals to go in but i find i'm the other way, ie, nervous as a shitting dog.
Do we all feel the same?

yes mate.. i'm loving it :)

This is different, it really is. We've got a good goalie, a solid defence, the best midfield in the league and a proper goalscorer.

Importantly we've got strength in depth, with possibly only Billy irreplaceable. Even if he gets injured we've got Lavery Clarke, McNulty , Done to come in.

This is the season, let's enjoy the ride, looks like 4000 of us did today at Peterborough !
