Could be a decent sized stand, built over BL putting a tunnel in or cantilever it out over the road (obviously closed during matches) and building around the Cricketers.

Kop is in greater need of upgrading though... considering everything is still outside
Yes the kop is by far and away the worst place to watch football in Bramall lane. But once it's developed we can't really come forward with BL end. We really need to scrap the current plans for the kop. Trying to incorporate a concrete covered "spoil heap" into a modern football is a really poor decision.

And Snooty, I'd totally forgotten that we were sponsored by Flybe and our link with

Robin Hood® Doncaster dont forget Sheffield
Airport!

You see, it does have its benefits being located in the vicinity of a major metropolitan area like errrr...... Doncaster...........

Why can't we put the couple of hundred away fans in the westfield corner, then have the whole (less some segregation by westfield) of BL for home fans? Essentially reverse the segregation that's currently in place. It always looks shit 2-tier stand is basically empty every match. It'd be no worse than most of the away fans at Carlisle being off one end of the pitch.

Because the Westfield Corner is the best part of the ground - get knotted!

A true 'legend' (despite the current overuse of the word for celebrity numpties) who re-joined the RAF despite losing two legs, shot down at least 20 odd German planes and then made several escape attempts as a POW.

Yes, although a difficult character (not like cuddly Kenny Moore played him), and on the wrong side of the 'Big Wing' argument (not a reference to chubby Paul Ifill)

Just been announced on sufc.co.UK . The Bramall Lane lower tier is to be open to Blades fans for the next 3 home games on a trial basis.

Good to hear It's a bit of forward planning.

They know that towards the end of the season there should be over 25K demand from home fans.

So may as well do a few trial runs to use the lower tier whilst the pressure is off.

WHY? surely it would be easier to put away fans in the lower tier and leave the upper tier exclusively for home fans as we did when last in the premiership. We don't half like to complicate matters o_O:confused:

Have tickets for those games already been sent to the away teams maybe? Maybe it's a stipulation from SYP about which tiers to use for which fans?

Spurs v Chelsea tonight - big London derby match and you could hardly get a fag paper between the two sets of fans.

Our segregation policy by SYP is pathetic.

Wendy won't be bothered about such restrictions. Claiming a "sellout" holds more kudos than winning the champions league for our porky neighbours.

I couldn't believe the crowd, given the usual attendance driven back slapping I was witnessing beforehand.
