Looks like there are quite a few former United players who'll be job-hunting this summer:

Boggy (Blackpool) - Hill as well unless we sign him!
Hurst (Walsall)
Gray, Cotterill (Dingles)
Webber (Leeds)
Robertson (Scunny)
Halls (Wycombe)
Howard (Reading)
Roe (Port Vale)
Mattock (WBA)

Anyone know of any more? Would you have any of them back?

In League 1 I would have

Hurst
Cotterill
Gray
Webber
Howard
Mattock

If we get promoted
Howard, Mattock & Cotterill are the only ones i'd consider, the latter two under different management could've been brilliant. Howard would probably fit in well with our current playing style. Both him & James Harper were overlooked as we just used to lump it

Cotterill has been universally toss wherever he has been. Mattock has flattered to deceive. Players like that are the reason we are in L1.

Halford will want Championship football not league 1, he can get that at Pompey.

We're currently a league 1 team and unless something changes dramatically - like we win by some play off system - ha as if, then we'll still be here next season.

Brian Howard, no no no no no no. Reading don't exactly play lumpball and he's been terrible there too. Always hiding and a midget to boot. He offers nothing.

With halford,, Doyle, Lowton macca and Quinn that's one hell of a midfield

If we stay down, then i think quinn will be off anyway. Turned it on for the cameras in the playoff semis. Ditto for macca, and possibly even williamson.

I completely forgot that. If he's still contracted at Hull then I doubt it'll be for much longer.

Imagine him and Harper in the same midfield, both pointing at each other wondering why no-one ever actually did anything.
