I wonder what (un towards) rabbits Everton are going to pull out of the hat to avoid relegation this season?

Sorry I meant to go on to say, maybe a cheeky bid for Ndiaye (spelling) in January? lolI wonder what (un towards) rabbits Everton are going to pull out of the hat to avoid relegation this season?
Pat Nevin, who normally I’ve got a lot of time for, said on the 5 Live commentary that “Everton have unearthed a real gemSorry I meant to go on to say, maybe a cheeky bid for Ndiaye (spelling) in January? lol
Is that like how Liverpool unearthed MacAllister? Pundits these days don't know a fucking thing.“Everton have unearthed a real gem
in Ndiaye”
Really hope so! lolIs that like how Liverpool unearthed MacAllister? Pundits these days don't know a fucking thing.
I honestly think Everton are heading towards becoming the Premier League's new Sunderland. For a while, their average PL season went something like this:
Step 1: Start the season dreadfully
Step 2: It gets so bad that the fans are screaming for heads, no matter whether that be players, manager etc.
Step 3: Sack the manager, somewhere between mid-October and late-November.
Step 4: Get a slight uptick in form, that's enough to keep them in reach of survival.
Step 5: Pull out some miraculous form in the last 5-6 games, including beating at least one top 4 side, to stay up on the last day.
Maybe they get out of that rut at some point, but I think it'd be very funny if they ended up going down right as they're ready to move to their new stadium.
Blades related?I wonder what (un towards) rabbits Everton are going to pull out of the hat to avoid relegation this season?
Quite a lot in Everton’s case. They should have gone in 1994.How many more lucky escapes can you get before you finally drop down.
Before my time unfortunately.Quite a lot in Everton’s case. They should have gone in 1994.
They’d have a cracking stadium thoughSure I read somewhere another FFP deduction was looking likely for them.
About time they met the championship. Think if they came down with the current issues in their finances they will be away from the Prem for quite a while.
They’d have a cracking stadium though![]()
Only four teams have won the league more than Everton. Man City only passing them last year.Hope they drop, think they’re bigger than they are coz a bit of success in the 80s, we’ll take Ndiaye on the way up
Sounds familiar...Hope they drop, think they’re bigger than they are coz a bit of success in the 80s
Controversial opinion but I’m not sure we need Ndiaye to come back. He was mercurial for us and one of the most gifted players I’ve seen in our team, but like so many others have said the manager relied on him too much to pull a rabbit out of the hat and do something amazing, rather than look at the squad as a whole.Hope they drop, think they’re bigger than they are coz a bit of success in the 80s, we’ll take Ndiaye on the way up
Ndiaye is exponentially better than O'Hare, Moore and Hamer so walks straight back into this team, playing any of their roles in this current formation and thus makes us much much better....Controversial opinion but I’m not sure we need Ndiaye to come back. I’d rather we had a balanced team with quality across the park. Obviously in an ideal world we’d have a team and a manager who could accommodate a player like Ndiaye without neglecting the rest of the squad and tactical approach, but if we were just going to back to “flick it on to Iliman and hope that he can do something unbelievable with it” I’d sooner we went without.
That’s not to say that we can’t build a squad around a player too, but that squad has to be capable of working when the player in question is misfiring or unable to play for whatever reason.
I think it’s fairly unrealistic anyway and whether Everton stay up or go down, he’ll be off to a bigger club next summer.
I believe that two of their players used to play for us !!Blades related?
Fair enough. For me it’s less about the player himself and more about the manager and tactics. I don’t want to see us revert to being a one-man team again.Ndiaye is exponentially better than O'Hare, Moore and Hamer so walks straight back into this team, playing any of their roles in this current formation and thus makes us much much better....
Think he'd be even better playing with players who are of a similar mindset. We saw how good he was once Doyle and McAtee cemented their places.
We're currently a no-man team...Fair enough. For me it’s less about the player himself and more about the manager and tactics. I don’t want to see us revert to being a one-man team again.
More emphasis on the word used.I believe that two of their players used to play for us !!
