Just had a look at Everton’s home form - Unbeaten at Goodison Park from 6th Feb 2019 - a 0-2 loss to Man City, they have also won every home game since then except a 0-0 draw to Liverpool in March.

It is going to be a tough match but i believe in the lads to bounce back from Saturday and get something out of it... would be great to come away with a point

I think we have to get something out of it as said on another thread, we really need to aim for 5 points for every four games at a minimum to leave us on 47 points or there about and safe, will be a very hard game but time for sleeves to be rolled up and every one of the team to do there bit, drop mistakes from there game and get something from it.

It's strange how they've been so good at home recently, yet so shite away.

statistically due a defeat then ;) . i've been to Goodison, the fans are really fickle (think Real Madrid fickle). if we can get on top of them then they will quickly turn on the team
i think we will get something out of this. lose the one expected to win and win the one expected to lose. that's how we roll in S2 :D

Just remember it’s a marathon, not a sprint. It’s not the end of the world if we lose against both scouse teams. We were expecting a relegation battle and this is what one looks like. It’s where we are in the league in May that matters, not October.

Can't see us getting anything from the next few - we really needed to get something from these last two home games and didn't.

I know Everton have good home form saw them other day and they were dire away from home, their manager looks like a man scared of losing his job. The game Saturday won't be easy but it's not beyond us, we will give a good account of ourselves I felt we'd lose to Soton we'd had an international break.

Norwich game gives us hope. Although Liverpool don't have VVD out to be fair...

More than that, Liverpool don't have a weak link. City, as good as they, have a few players prone to cockups like Stones. Liverpool don't have that problem, they're solid across the board.

That's a match I'd start Mo Besic. I'd pop him on Firminho for the whole match.

Everton, we could get a draw. Yerry Mina has poor acceleration and is a bit clumsy, he can be exploited by someone pacey like Robbo or Moose.

Followed their last match at AFC Bournemouth on Sunday.
Our former player, DCL was getting pelters from all angles, so was the manager for picking him.

High press could work wonders.. force the mistake and give them nothing on the ball... get the crowd on their backs, harrass and harry them until they beg for mercy!!!

"Back to February" sounds like it's a really long time. But they are currently only unbeaten in 7 games with 6 wins on the spin with a current form of: DWWWWWW

Before that Liverpool draw on 3rd March, their previous 7 form was: DDLLWLL

Stats can be easily turned on their head. But saying that, they've beaten some good teams in those six games:
  1. Chelsea 2-0
  2. Arsenal 1-0
  3. Man U 4-0
  4. Burnley 2-0
  5. Watford 1-0
  6. Wolves 3-2
It's their defence form which is worrying.

He’s on loan to us from them.

Won’t be able to play.

Decent home form but most of their recent home games going back into last season, are against teams who are out of form,in transition...except for Leicester and Man City, when they got beat...Tough game, but still a good chance of a result for me.

We need to play away from home like we did at Leeds last season, just frustrate and defend and send Bash in for the win....

Seriously - we need to take our chances or we’re fucked this season, simple as that..

It could be argued we're still "In transition ourselves? Agree though, tough and always a chance wi dem Blades. Let The Moose off the leash.

So much for historical stats, you make your own stats when the game kicks off.
COME ON YOU RED AND WHITE WIZARDS!!!
