Evans was class

Wilson was better than Clarke, quite comfortably too. I know some won’t like this but it’s true and if I were Wilson I’d have been gutted I was took off instead of Clarke who didn’t put himself about nothing like he usually does. Wilson has got a lot in his locker and won us quite a few corners from his pressure, a clever player who knows when to press.

Evans was very classy for the division we find ourselves in.

Let’s not understate the role Coutts has played, but yeah Evans had a very good game. I think i was actually confusing Evans and Fleck at times in the first half and I think some of the balls the pair of them played were fantastic.

Leonard and Evans did drop off the pace in the second half and I think replacing them both was almost unavoidable

Looking forward to seeing much much more from Evans and Leonard as I think against lower end Championship sides they’ll do well

I was surprised he was taken off, and think it was a bad decision. He was in my opinion the best on the pitch at that time. He was passing the ball around, and breaking up play. Once he went off we couldn’t keep the ball, and looked disjointed.

Ngolo Kante could sign and we wouldn't be allowed to say he's better than Coutts.

Let's not forget this guy would be playing for Wolves had they not won the lottery... saying that, they probably wouldn't be top if so

I only got to see it on the TV tonight but I'm not sure what Wilson did last night to earn his wage. On at least 2 occasions, his first touch was atrocious and took all sting out of the forward momentum or it gave the ball away. Good effort on the overhead kick, but from 8 yards out, he should have hit the target

That's a bit harsh on the overhead kick. Better players than him would have missed and it wasn't far off. Agree with the rest, his first touch was like mine and he lost it by overrunning it at least once. Hopefully it's just because he'd been out injured and there's more to come. I can't believe a player could get so far with Man U with a touch like that. I reckon he'll be better with a few more games under his belt.

Twiss, Coffie, just because they have MUFC pedigree doesn't make them great.

I didn't say it did. I said he'd not have got through the youth sides if his first touch is always as poor as it was last night. There was nothing wrong with Cofie's technique either, he was just nesher than nesh. Can barely remember Twisd tbh, I don't think he started that much for us and youth development and academies have changed a lot since those days.

There’s a big difference between Twiss, Cofie and Wilson.

Many respected Man Utd fans were saying Wilson could be their best natural finisher since Olle Gunnar Solksjaar,
he was arguably on a par with Rashford in his youth. Twiss and Coffie have never been rated so highly. I know a Man United (lives in Manchester) and he’s really interested how Wilson gets on in the Championship. He’s worried he might not be the same player after his bad injury but says he was really impressive in his youth,

Agree with Bushblade, logic suggests he’ll get better with more games. Don’t write him off yet.

Ok I will give him a chance but I've seen nothing to get excited about yet.

100% agree MB he linked up very well with Fleck just seating a bit deeper and acting the link between the midfield & defence made some good tackles & interceptions with a great work rate .
He looks to be a quality signing and the pick of the bunch on early showings , showed how much he was contributing as we completely lost our rhythm after he was subbed .
