Anyone thinking Evans would be up to speed straight away is deluded, last season he got games at Chesterfield too many too soon and picked up injury after injury as a result. Who knows how long it will take for him to be able to play 90 mins week in week out, his signing was always a gamble one which would have been more acceptable if we had gone out from day one to bring in someone with real pace and quality. I wouldn't be writing him off just yet. As for Lavery he was frozen out for a year by the pigs, he too came here not match fit and just when he started looking half decent picked up an injury that kept him out for the rest of the season and put him back to square one I wouldn't be writing him off just yet either. I just don't see the point in giving either pelters just because we need bodies now. There were question marks over both for the start of the season we should have been more active in looking for a striker at the end of last season Hanson and Done were never going to be good enough, Clarke is debatable you could even say the same about Billy who is getting no younger.
