Evans interview was good to hear, he seems delighted to have got this move. Seems raring to get started.

Pleased that we've got business done early - given our recent form we needed to get business one early and strengthen - the Leonard and Evans signings in particular are excellent in my opinion and shows CWAK are quick to address areas that need addressing. Wilson more of a gamble but only a loan so no loss if he turns out to be a flop - has lots of potential so I've very pleased with window so far.

I don't think CW is done yet even on the claimed £2.5 million budget. If we do sell Whiteman that will add a bit more back in to the pot which I think will then stretch to two more signings. We can speculate on Kent, Cole and Holmes.

Holmes could be a 'goer' for a number of reasons:
1) Charlton need money
2) Charlton need players
3) Charlton want Carruthers
4) Wilder likes Holmes

So that could be a straight swap or a cash plus player deal which would help stretch our budget further. (Carruthers +£200k)

That should leave enough for a Cole type (although not fussed) and, depending on the terms Kent.

sounds like 2 good additions. in typical Wilder fashion not biggest profile so have little prior expectations of these players coming in. as bar what ive read last few days i know little about Lee Evans. & all i know about James Wilson is that he scored i think 2 on Ryan Giggs managerial debut after david moyes was sacked
