Thoughts on the kit?

Would be interesting to know the split between online, meadowhall and stadium for sales. Wasn't the kit launch/initial sale done in meadowhall the other year rather than at the ground? Other than match days I'd guess online/meadowhall do more business than the shop at the ground
That's a good point, I'd forgotten about the Meadowhall store because I hate Meadowhall with a passion!

Was thinking we'd have to order the new shirts online and that's a risky business, especially with a new supplier, can never be sure what the sizes are

It's a very nice outlet we have down there

The original claim - made on a Celts forum rather obviously - was that the crests were ironed on. Both BS.
Wrong. Celtic fans would have no doubt took the piss as any fan would but it all stems from Follow Follow, I remember reading about it at the time it was all over Twitter, there is a 150 page thread about the quality on Follow Follow, started not by a Celtic fan but by Follow Follow admin about the poor quality. I just clicked on it to refresh my memory and only read first 10 pages or so and someone says their gear is like someone stuck the badge on a fruit of the loom shirt, another says his daughters hoodie is basically the Badge stuck on a fruit of the loom hoodie and with no Castore logo on, so no doubt that’s where all the piss takes stemmed from, from Rangers fans. The badges were indeed ironed on a lot of the gear, badges and logo crooked, badges and logos dropping off, jumpers that were school jumpers with name tags in, even a tracksuit on the first few pages with no Rangers Badge on at all. 150 pages of Rangers fans slaughtering Castore.

That isn’t true at all, fruit of the loom stuff was allover Twitter from genuine mad gers fans
It was that’s how I remember it, obviously rival fans will jump on it as we would with the pigs but it all stemmed from rangers fans, I’m just having another read of the thread, fuck me and we are worried about errea!! Rangers fans had it bad with Castore. Page 33 is the school jumper, made not by Castore but awdisbrands and you can buy the exact same school jumper from them on Amazon for under a tenner, (minus the rangers badge of course) Castore we’re basically buying stuff from all over and just ironing on the badge and logo.

Hopefully most of the Rangers fans that wanted a refund got one because Castore were pathetic back then, bit off more than they could chew for a first client it seems. Have to say their gear looks decent these days though.

The 2020 furore was regards the differing quality of shirts made in Turkey/China and Castores cock ups in dealing with it. (Now 2022, the issue is supply). The “school jumpers” related to kids sweatshirts and again the quality which had been subcontracted. Not to Fruit of the Loom whose name was used because of its well known shit quality. Iron on embroidery as well!

Good to see Twitter replacing my mate in the pub though as the factual go two. It is 2022 after all.

What an odd retort.
I mean, you imagine Rangers fans might care an inchy wincy bit.

You know we’re on about Castore don’t you? Not Errea. Go and cry about it 😂
if i was rangers fan on a rangers forum or our kit was by Castore i might care
im not
this isnt
it isnt.

this thread is boring enough without the constant back and forth about teams that have eff all to do with the blades

So that’s who cares then, to answer your question.

If it is so boring why are you reading it? 🤣
I can see why you don’t say much on this forum 😂😂 god knows we’re missing out

Perfect. I've been hoping for a football shirt that doesn't look like a football shirt
I'm being serious. Nothing against older men wearing a football shirt but I'd prefer something that looks more like a casual t shirt. Loving the vest that was in twitter, would be good for the gym.

ISZA ⚔️ 9am tomorrow eh?

I’d totally forgotten about the Meadowhall store as I don’t go in very often. But yes I’d say online orders and Meadowhall make up the vast amount of sales for most of the year not just off season.
Have the massive still got that hole in the wall down there 😂
Yep 😂

Isn't it better to buy from Meadowhall anyway?

In the off season no reason to head to the Lane and it's likely most at some stage will venture to Meadowhall.

I'd be interested to see how the sizes are. Pain in the ass to return stuff if you live overseas.
