Not entirely true. His place of birth or origin belies the person you listen to. He's London through and through, therefore as conversant with other English team-mates as a Scot, Welsh, or Irish player. Think this is nit-picking of the extreme variety, and given that he wouldn't cost a great deal etc etc etc.......let's be mindful of another Ricky Holmes situation though. No point giving any player a token appearance, where they play well, then return them to the bench and wonder why they were bought in the first place?

We could get this lad on a free now (absolute steal to who gets him). Out of contract next month. 16 goals from midfield in a Walsall side that only just avoided relegation. We need a midfielder with a proper eye for goal so he's maybe worth a punt to compete with Duffy for the AM spot. Although, can be argued that Holmes might breakthrough and be a goal scoring midfielder next season (as he has at previous clubs) but I can't imagine it as he hasn't managed to get any minutes even when Duffy hasn't played.

Aye, I'm surprised I haven't seen any clubs being linked with Oztumer. Bit curious on the Maris one, it's abit odd that he was born In Sheffield and played for Barnsley's academy and we're two of the three club's reportedly linked. Possibly a false one started.

Not sure how any one can pass judgement on him based on yday. Bolton were completely outplayed and any possession they did have either went sailing over his head or through Sammy "massive fucking shoulders" Ameobi shows what a poor manager Parkinson is, why he looked at that bench and thought this lad can change this game, in fact lets rewind back to the summer when they signed him and ask the same question.
