There is absolutely no way O'driscolll would be given the time demanded by Sheff Utd supporters.
I think Doncaster are the most boring team in the league anyway ,like 10 Ray Wilkins doing crab impressions.

I agree, they are not a good attacking side, yes they keep the ball but only in their half of the pitch, they came to the lane for a draw or maybeez nick a goal, pants!

And as for calling them hooligans, get your facts right. They weren't hooligans at all. Most were young lads.The hooligans were other wise engaged in waiting for the Cardiff coaches to come past and cause trouble as revenge for the hassle we had last year in Cardiff.
Monty is a tremendous loss to us as is Ward. There is no way Cardiff would have scored their 4th goal if Monty had been playing because he would have put a challenge in somewhere down the 85 yards they ran with the ball.

If you asked me I had the faith in Blackwell to turn us into an attractive successful team , I'd say no . Would I get rid of him at the moment ? Probably not .

Despite his failures as a manager ( regularly discussed on here) which i accept, he's a determined little bugger , a fighter and someone who cares passionately about the club .

Theres something to be said for those qualities at least.
I'd be surprised if he will ever manage a club in the top flight , but at the moment he's got a scrap on his hands and should be allowed the oppertunity to prove many of us wrong.

Totally agree with what you say.
I would add that in a couple of weeks time when the 'injured' players are back, if results and performances don't improve then it will be time for Blackwell to be replaced.
By his own admission he states that injuries are 'killing us'. The players here are by and large quality and CAN play.
Can Blackwell gel his team into a winning unit. That remainsto be seen.
Like all Blades, I hope he can and we can all move on.
