Just thinking about potential hendo replacements (if we can’t manage to get him back next season) as its probably the most critical position to get right.

But Martinez for Arsenal seems to have done well while stepping in for the injured Leno (their fans seem to be rating the performances too). Looking into it hadn’t realised he was 27, and assume he was a youngster, but you’d think he might fancy getting some first team football at this stage of his career.

I thought about this guy too has looked solid for arsenal and had a good loan spell at reading last season

If we need a new keeper due to our Deano going elsewhere I would go for Jack Butland. He's completely lost his way just like Stoke have but he's still a good age and can get back to his best under Wilder. His huge asking price will have reduced significantly now and he just feels like another Wilder rescue mission success story to me.

You'd seriously trust Butland in the Prem?? He's made countless errors again this season, several of which directly led to goals. There's a reason no other team has gone for him.
IMHO he's similar to Joe Hart - once a promising prospect but now a busted flush.

Problem is his wages. We probably shouldnt give him the reported 20 000 pounds wages Arsenal has him on.
If JOC is on 10 000, it's outrageous to double that!

From what I’ve read Arsenal are considering making him their number 1 next season so no chance

If, and it is a big if, JOC is on 10K per week then we will lose him sooner rather than later.

I've no idea what JOC is paid, but if United haven't increased his weekly figure I'd be hugely surprised.

Given that our wage budget should be a matter for discussion, my hope is that the club are being pro-active rather than acting complacently, assuming the players are content with their lot. We've got excellent players, it's the hub of all that matters for United, so ensuring we pay them something that reflects their Prem status - and before anyone pipes up, yes, I know that currently we're unable to pay upwards of £50/60 grand a week - I hope that it won't be too long before this is addressed.

JOC should be joint highest wages, with the other key players, but we should keep our wagebudget low and fair. Having an untested keeper on 20 would mean having proven players on 30 at least. The prem money should be spent on long term improvement, not wages, if that means that our best players leave, so be it. I'd rather be a brighton than a Sunderland.

I would imagine that they all have a premier league wage structure in their contracts
I think the only threat to losing anyone would be relegation, but how many of them would be as good under a different management team we forget the CW/AK factor
