Never liked the bloke from day one,since he arrived our standard of football has been awful.When the inevitable is announced that G.S is departing to sheep shagging head quaters,lets hope and pray that ellis and co :thumbdown::thumbdown: get the boot aswell,i just hope he doesnt get a chance to manage us for a while,because frankly,he`s a shithouse.:thumbdown::thumbdown:
 

Again I wonder just how anyone is qualified to have a go at Ellis given that no-one knows what he does and how he does it?

He isn't going to be in charge, John Carver is taking control of the Blades first team for at least the short term.

Why isn't Ellis in charge. He is the assistant manager? So I think to answer the question about what Ellis does is not much!
 
I cant see how anybody can stick up for him!!!christ,the man has done NOTHING for the club.Just takin an easy backseat ride for 3 years.

I could give you all the job titles I've had in my working life and even job descriptions and none of you would have a clue what I really had to do in those jobs.

I'm sure all your jobs are the same.

This is not to support Ellis in any way but let's get real.

So because of that fact he deserves his plaudits then?Ive only stated my personel opinion of a bloke that doesnt seem to do much,for that reason i think we should wipe our feet of ALL the staleness at the lane,and he`s one of those.

Im not defending or supporting Ellis, but I always thought he came across well and made sense on the radio. However, I've never heard a good word about him. It is a valid point that since he's been here the football has been gash, although I'm sure there are number if reasons other than SE for that.

Don't think anyone said he deserved plaudits... mainly that he gets a lot of abuse from people who don't have the slightest clue how good or bad he is at his day job.

Not many plaudits here.

But just because we think he didn't do much is not the best evidence. Someone who should know what he actually did/does should be the judge.

Yup. There was also a time David Kelly was cause of all ills. And Warnock couldn't manage without Blackwell. 2003's flowing footy was actually all Blackwell's doing, allegedly.

Whenever I've been to Shirecliffe Ellis has been heavily involved in the training sessions, more so than Blackwell, who mainly watched if he was there.

The proof of his and the other coaches work should be on the pitch like in set pieces... Christ we're dire at corners
