The lack of height, power and athleticism in our team is glaringly obvious and is damaging us badly. It needs addressing immediately. These qualities are essential in a modern football team, regardless of style of play. The unbeatable Arsenal team was full of tall, athletic powerhouses who could play as well.

Agreed, something we've been increasingly lacking for about 2 years with no obvious sign of it being tackled. It was startling how small our team looked against Hull's recently.

It's moving on the over priced mediocrity we've assembled that will slow any progress here.

Thoughts? Didn't see their left winger get a kick until they got the cross in from the left channel for the goal, not sure if he was out of position or not?

Generally thought he looked a lot more solid than Calve, albeit not offering as much going forward though give me defenders who can defend in our position. Great in the air and got stuck in, even laid Billy out once ;)

Could do a steady job for us IMO.

He did indeed look solid and whilst he didn't stick many crosses in, he spent quite a bit of time showing Yeatesy the type of runs he should be making!

Looked very average and about the least Argentinian-style player you could imagine.
Did improve after a shaky start but hard to see him being a long term proposition at right back.

I think lenners or someone related to him sits next to me. Spent the whole match moaning.... even after Kozzy's stunner. Cheer up.

He's not even got a squad number..........

His squad number is 33 according to today's programme.

we signed him from the argies a few weeks ago, can play anywhere across the back. looked solid when he played against us, why hasnt he been given a chance yet?

He played today.

thought he played well today, especially considering he was not in his normal position. I would like to see more of him in the side.

Made a few mistakes, clearly still settling in, but as with all young lads need time and will learn the English game as he goes.

Looked well up for it and spent a lot of time in their box
