I'm not a fan of 'entrance music', but what was that coma-inducing dross they played yesterday?
Do you mean this one? I like it, apparently Wilder's choice. Trouble is because I like it it's annoying when they cut it short, fade it out and start rambling over it.

Hilarious! What would we do without gifs from America eh? And all the other shit of theirs that we copy?

I think “change” is inevitable, but we should challenge if it’s not an improvement, not just accept it as “inevitable”.

I liked wavy-blades perspective on this and didn’t feel he was so much resisting change as sticking up for common sense. (Which explains why it escaped you perhaps?).

Yes, that's the one. Each to their own I guess. For me that choice of music is just like the video - completely backwards.

Oh no we didn't.

I've watched the 2006-07 season review several times and I can assure you we didn't.

Only the top clubs in the country had them in those days.

Oh yes we did, admittedly the were not like today's version but we did have electric advertising boards that changed adverts every so often.

Those were completely different.

Pushing it a bit by calling them electronic.

Why not go modern and retro, electronic hoardings with a picture of a little blue three wheeled car on.

I love a gif, simple as that really

I noticed them briefly, because I commented to my mate that it was a sad indictment on present times that virtually all the adverts were for online betting companies to which he responded, "but that's our life now, or really our kid's lives ". Sad but necessary evil, bit like the entire fucking internet.

Back in the day it was fags that sponsored everything to do with sport. Since the ban, the betting companies have slowly but surely filled the gap to the point where they sponsor everything.

I believe that betting companies are only allowed to advertise pre-watershed if it involves sport, hence why the adverts at the Lane are largely betting and at half time on televised matches are all betting with the live odds.

No doubt it won’t last and there will be a ban in a few years.

Means we can have sponsors at short notice too surely, since we don't have to go out and have signs made (which probably cost a bit) just put a file on a laptop and hit play.

You say that but then again we make sending a simple fax more like an Apollo Space mission.
