I can see why. Looking only at the usual defensive metrics, he was an absolute monster at Derby. Maybe just doesn't have the speed or height to be a top-level CB.

There's definitely a place for football analytics and data in scouting, but I reckon any business needs to be sealed by an 'eye test' from someone who knows what they are looking at.

This one with Cashin and Brighton seemed like a mistake from the start. An odd signing. Because physically he simply doesn't appear equipped for the PL as a CB
