Personally I think they must have paid next to nothing for the lad. You don’t spunk over 500k for a lad in his mid twenties and only give him 2 and a half year contract if he’s any good

That's strange, because they have written off our signings as players they wouldn't want, yet this player comes with a 'fantastic reputation'.

Exactly our signings are rubbish and we are preparing for a return to the 1st Division.
They sign some Dutch player who i am pretty sure the vast majority of pigs have never seen kick a ball, and he's a great signing and a future Captain.
And the Dutch league is suddenly 2nd only to La Liga in terms of quality.

Alright i made the last comment up, but i wouldn't be totally shocked if some pig on Porktalk did say that.
