Should've stayed on for longer tonight, the sub should've been Brooks for Billy rather than Duffy. Duffy offers so much more than Brooks in midfield harrying, stealing the ball and getting back to defend. He can do more than 60 mins. Brooks was poor tonight coming on in that position.

You could see on TV he wasn't happy at being subbed. Agree he is phenomenal. Makes things happen. Out of the magic trio of Coutts Fleck and Duffy, Duffy has been inspirational this season.

Excellent player and what a signing! How do we compare him with Ndlovu? I think its close but I think Duffy takes it due to the fact the quality of opposition seems to be better in the championship now.

I agree that it is frustrating for those of us watching but we have to respect the medical staff. Player physiology is monitored to the nth degree these days, so much so that it is possible to predict when the likelihood of injury is at a level where risk outweighs reward. Duffy isn’t a Spring chicken and, if, for the sake of keeping him on, his hamstring goes and we lose him for weeks that would be a massive blow. Our problem is that we don’t currently have a like for like sub. Brooks is a fantastic talent but he’s not the type get into the thick of things in midfield, mix it up and play others in. For me, an essential signing needed in Jan
