Duff has the ability to terrorise every denfence in the league. But unfortunately he doesn’t back himself enough to do it every game.

I’ve never really seen Holmes play other than against us last season, and I doubt many others on this forum have either. So don’t understand the calls for him to be put straight in the team

Duff played okay today especially second half but, Jeez he has got to work on those deliveries from free kicks etc, woeful !

To be honest Stretch I would think overall that Holmes is a better dead ball specialist but at the moment Duffy deserves his place in the side. Thought second half he was working really well with George and giving them a few problems.

Why not play em both with Fleck & One other holding

Different kind of dead ball specialists. Holmes shoots and scores from free kicks. Duffy always looks to create something for someone else and rarely has a direct shot.

His free kicks aren’t usually the best but he was having a really bad day Sat, first half especially the amount of times his passes went straight out of play
