I've had many great moments watching the Blades over the years but Duffy's goal yesterday really was something special! I've never tried to come up with a song before (so be kind) but I was trying to think of something to sum up THAT moment when the ball hit the net and stopped 30,000 pigs from bouncing and I thought of the following:

To the tune of 'choo, choo, choo, let's all do the conga':

Nah, nah, nah
They said we'd see a trouncing
Nah, nah, nah
Then Duffy stopped them bouncing!

Nah, nah, nah
They said we'd see a trouncing
Nah, nah, nah
Then Duffy stopped them bouncing!

and repeat

If you think it's sh*t then fair enough but I just thought Duffy deserved some sort of song for the joy he brought to every Blade everywhere yesterday!

My mate half wrote a song to the tune of Get Lucky by Daft Punk but I've forgotten the lyrics. Obviously 'lucky' rhymns with Duffy. Something about running up the wing? ;)

Simply Kylie. Add your own words or use these.

What a goal by Duffy Duffy Duffy Duffy

And repeat.

Oh the other Kylie song, well Wedy fans have already reserved that for Jack Hunt.

To the tune of yummy, yummy, yummy, I've got love in my tummy...

Duffy, Duffy, Duffy, I'm in love with Mark Duffy,
And we beat the pigs 4-2!

Woke up with these tunes in my head this morning for some reason.....

Oh what a beautiful morning
Oh what a beautiful day
Mark Duffy stopped the pigs bouncing
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha....
Mark Duffy, Mark Duffy, Mark Duffy.....

To the left
To the right
Duffy turned, Duffy scored
We're out of sight
(Stereo MC's tune)

I thought Duffy was singing "Mercy" to Van Aken as he turned his nuts inside out.

Not a song for Duffy, but I keep thinking of the Drifters song.
"Save the last bounce for me"
I'm sure there's something to work with there.

Happy Days

Man Utd sing about Diego Forlan making the scousers cry. We could steal that tune:

Mark Duffy Oooooh oh oh
Mark Duffy Oooooh oh oh
He made the piggies cry
No bouncing at the sty

Change the last line to 'and stop bouncing at the Sty and that's a winner for me

Simple effort, to the tune of "Let's all laugh at Wednesday"

"Duffy stopped the bouncing, Duffy stopped the bouncing, Na na na na ooh, Na na na na ooh"

What about.

Nah,nah,nah.
Duffys stopped them bouncing.
Nah,nah,nah.
Bouncing on the floor.
Nah,nah,nah.
Clarkys stopped them bouncing.
Nah,nah,nah.
Now the blades have 4.

I like that. I like that a lot

Oh go on then, shit day at work anyway......... with a big nod to something similar weeds had

Twenty fourth of September, remember the date,
We beat the pigs who we f*ckin hate,
First was John Fleck with a stunning free kick
He made Westwood look like a prick
Mark Duffy was ready to pounce,
He made the bastards forget to bounce,
And with Leon Clark, scored us a brace
We're Sheff United, we're F*ckin ace.

I thank you

:tumbleweed:

alright... coat

Go on then I'll have a go....

Mark Duffy Mark Duffy stopped them bouncing
Mark Duffy Mark Duffy the Blaaaaade
Mark Duffy Mark Duffy stopped them bouncing
Playing football the Chris Wilder way
.....

Tune of give me joy in my heart (or for fellow talksport listeners to the fucking annoying vanarama advert played every two mins)

Not very original i know, but to the We're on the march with Wilder's army tune..

Remember the slaughter in September
Pigs were bouncing when they scored
Then Mark Duffy gets the ball
And he scored a fuckin goal
And the pigs weren't bouncing anymore.
