I'm sure while it's quiet on here people won't mind me posting this slightly pointless thread.
Basically, I'm a sucker for a good picture.

He comes across as such a quiet lad normally, but fooking hell, he looks like a right Rottweiler on that.
I wouldn't mess.
 
He also has his laces tied up, not like these modern hipster types with their unlaced trainers.
 
I'm assuming that's just as he was getting to his feet after winning the penalty.

I remember seeing him play at Stocksbridge when we had first signed him, I don't remember his performance but I remember someone on here overhearing him talk to the subs as he was warming up and waiting to come on.
It wasnt anything sensational but they said he talked and talked about football and his previous games and teams. They said he sounded like he absolutely loved the game. He wasn't taking about family, love island or holidays, he was talking like an old fashioned pro that had a passion and desire to keep playing the sport he loved for as long as possible.
That's always stuck with me, I don't know why but ever since then I've had a soft spot for the bloke.

I think I read that he came into the game late and through the hard way as he was working as a scaffolder.

He’s only small but you never mess with a scaffolder

I am extremely proud of the fact that my son is 3 pairs of boots into his young football life and he's only ever asked for black boots. Currently he has a pair of these for indoor and a pair of astroturf ones of the same, he had Nike tiempo's before.

The day he asks for lumo boots will be a sad day.
 



It is a great picture of my current favourite Blade, how I wish he were 5 years younger.

‘Bolt tighteners’ as they’re known in the trade.
 
He's a god, but could easily pass for Hobbit.
