Duffy has often been the player that makes us tick, he's our version of Davide Silva.

He has this knack of finding space popping up unmarked in the areas between midfield and attack.
He's a bit slow and very lightweight (can't tackle) but is very calm/ comfortable on the ball.
He's able to dribble/ glide past his man and makes some very clever passes.

Since his return to the 1st team maybe it's a coincedence
But Coutts and Fleck have improved and are now showing their top form from last season.
The signs are that our midfield is now finding its feet.....last week against Barnsley was identical to most league 1 matches last season where we totally dominated. Also against Derby our midfield impressed again and clearly had more class/ ability.

Bonnet de douche, either a truffle hunter on the wind up or knows bugger all about football. Duffy was my MOM yesterday. His contribution is vital, ability is not measured completely in goals scored and assists.

Ha ha deadbat has never been objective in his reports on players. He has those he likes and the ones that he will write negatively about even if everyone else saw an entirely different game

Don't forget to add, he's also capable of admitting to those he has a bias or preference about......I think it's preferable to have someone who'll give an honest view of both player and team's performance as some type of benchmark. Whether any of us agree is another matter, but at least the review is fresh, straight from the match, and never less than honest.

Willing lads ..but nowhere near good enough ...must be able shift or use as make weights ..or shift on loan off wage bill ...yes it's a squad game these days ...but a bit of our youth..or some young premiership loan lads could all offer more than these 3 ..times change ..we are progressing nicely ...let's try to ship a few out ...

You're not good enough. never seen a worse performance.

Tell me how many actual chances he creates ...or is goIng to create in this Division ....next to none that's how many ...he looks as though he has guile ...because he only plays little short balls around corners ...but he isn't very progressive at that ...in our formation ...and tbh in any formation in the Championship ...he is absolutely nowhere near productive enough ...looks busy ...end result 9 times of 10 Nil...

Excuse my ignorance ...but I don't need to watch a video of the game ..I saw everything clearly between 3pm ..and 4:59 pm...

Thanks for the advice though ...and when you watch the video ..come back to me with all the chances he created ....

Oh...and just a final point ...again excuse my ignorance ...please explain the " specialist " piece to me ..and ....Carruthers showed more " guile " in 10 minutes ......

Enjoy the video ....

As you like... zzz ... dick head...

I stopped reading them midway through last season

Duffy not good enough? Get back on the medication fella.

I've not given any opinion on this thread, I just find it funny when people like to claim to know what Wilder is thinking.

The fact he picks him, the way he reacts and puts the arm round him when he takes him off, think it gives me a pretty good idea what Wilder is thinking with regard to Duffy. OP is on the wind-up.

"truffle hunter..."
OR
"knows bugger all...."

Surely one & the same ?!?!

Said the same thing buddy... I also said I thought it might be because Barnsley were shit.

After yesterday it was clear that as good as Fleck and Coutts are... Duffy makes them even better.

I love them.

Coutts and Fleck have been outstanding..the best pairin the Championship so far ...bar none ....we just need more from the free role guy ....not questioning Duffy commitment one iota ....we could just do with someone ( if we stick with this formation ) ..that might get the odd goal ..or create more ...not asking for the world or a superstar we can't afford ...he just doesn't offer us enough in the final third ...and that's his job .......let's see in a months time eh ....

Are you fucking special? I mean we're all entitled to our own opinions but Jesus Christ. Duffy has been one of our better players last couple of games.

He is just a attention seeking Pig,smarting due to our decent start

Yes, coming here in the guise of a Blade, simply to cause trouble, hasn't the squeaky runt got anything better to do than attempt to cause problems here, especially when his porky darlings are so desperately in need of guidance? UTMB!

So you want to sell the player who has been our best performer for the past 2 games?

For what possible benefit?

To be honest - 60 mins of Duffy to help us keep the ball and win the game, then 30 minutes of carutthers to hit teams on the break and add that extra speed against tiring legs works for me.

Perhaps Mr Bonnet would love us to part with Duffy. It would cost his team a lot more than the £10,000,000 they spent on the player that daren't take penalties. Perhaps his team ought to send him out on loan, perhaps Chesterfield, they don't seem interested in scoring goals
