Alright all, I had to work last night and it was painful (literally) driving into town at 6:30pm seeing loads of you making your way to the Lane. My meeting finished just after half time and on my way home I couldn't resist a drive down Shoreham Street and Cherry Street despite it adding 15 minutes to my journey home. If there was a way of sneaking in for the last 30 mins I would have been there.

Seeing the kop rammed and floodlights on between the gap in the South Stand/Kop was brilliant. Listening to Radio Sheffield and with the windows down to try and get a pinch of the atmosphere. So chuffed they won, can't wait to be at the beam back this weekend. This is happening people COYRAWW!

My Piggy mate who lives near Myrtle Road said he could hear us going nuts when we scored!!

Bet he loved it.

Not without having his bags checked and his bumps felt he coud`nt .

Speaking of which, Trig Jnr (TE), living in Brum, bought a couple of bottle of Hendos from the club shop before the game to replenish his stock. I said I felt sure he wouldn't be allowed to take them in.

The steward felt the bag, didn't ask what was in it and waved him through. Not sure of the logic, but maybe it was that he knew the shape and feel of the bottle very well and realised that no Yorkshireman would spend good money on Hendo's and then use it as a missile :-)

I used to work in Currys on the Moor many moons ago and would take a late lunch hour on a Saturday, walk down to the Lane and watch what i could through the gates in between the South Stand and away end....I could see the goal and up to about the edge of the 6-yard box....it wasn't much but it beat selling Matsui TV's for an hour...
