I have decided that after the 25th I will cut out alcohol from my diet should the Blades go up......

HOWEVER, if Burnley go up I will cut it out for 2 months.....

Updates to follow ;)

You can't do it.

You've said this a number of times:D

As yo well know I drink a fair bit......

However this last month has took it to another level and I think it is time to give my liver a rest.

I've done it before, I will do it again.

You can do it Robbie!

I've just found out I'm working 8am-6pm on tuesday so no partying for me monday night when we get back. :(

I work every Tuesday... and being at college, there's a chance my day is going to be 08:30 while 20:00!

With the drinking thing... I'm not supposed to any more anyway and since giving up, have lost quiet a bit of weight and saved quite a bit of money.

Plus it feels more of a treat to have a glass of wine every now and again instead of a full bottle every week.

Need to catch train to Manchester Airport at 9.10am tuesdaymorning. But, if....., I can always try to fly back later that day (Leeds - Amsterdam) at 6 pm...

When you're working with kids you can't go in with a hangover, simple as! I get one 20-25min break all day for my lunch on an 8am-6pm day and that's it.
The good news is I get paid a week thursday and a week friday and I have friday off work so maybe a few drinks friday night in the new wetherspoons would be good if we win monday.

Since working 40 hours + each week I've cut drinking down to a few pints/single jd and cokes once a week...on a monday night at darts games but usually we can't afford it so I just have cans of coke. It's all good though, it's funny watching others get drunk.

You've clearly not worked in schools very long then :D

A number of teachers at my last place used to keep a change of clothes in their rooms/lockers in the staff room so they could get ready in a morning after staying out all night.

I've worked in schools too long! :D
Not possible for me to go in with a hangover, might be for some but not me!

I am getting the beers sunk this weekend to show my liver who is boss.

Work 8 Tuesday morning too :(

Champagne bought this morning, sitting in the fridge for if it goes well on monday. :D

Highlights from Day One:

Robbie frequented 2 pubs, the first one he had 2 pints of cola whilst his friend drank 2 pints of lager.... Robbie was jealous.

Robbie then went on to a poker night, where he joined the 2 pregnant girls on soft drinks for the night. 3 more pints of cola and a j2o later.... Robbie went home sober, but having only spent £20 including poker, drinks, fruit machine and taxi fair.

So far 'some' money has been saved.

Day Two: Robbie woke with no hangover..... strange feeling, however he feels he will get used to this..... only another month and 30 days to go.

Day 2 went well..... more poker with more pop.

Should really go on to the water, but gotta have some vices ;)
