Doyle & Robbo joint MOTM tonight .. as most will know on here big fan of this lad ..just gets on with the job & is always involved in linking play up & putting a tackle in , very underrated.. we always look a better side when he’s in midfield. Stepped into Norwood role seamlessly

He looked like a ready-made Norwood replacement which is a huge compliment. Norwood is 32 this year and out of everyone in our starting 11, he will be the hardest to replace. We definitely won't get another Ollie for £2m, that's for sure.

If Doyle can put in those performances against top sides on a consistent basis, then he's the one. Gerrim signed!

Norwood has been one of the first names on the team sheet for a few seasons and to be fair to him he hardly gets injured but because he is in the starting eleven a bit too regularly we look predictable some times so I’m glad we’ve had this change.

Outstanding, always showed for the ball, rarely gave it away and even did a few Norwood pings. He's more mobile than Norwood and if we go up a ready made replacement for him. Not sure how
much City would want for him though

I think last night we learned a bit more about our midfield options. Doyle in the defensive role has brought out his best performance in comparison to playing on right or left. Not sure how the injuries affected his performances previously but he was last night the midfield general that we needed. Playing deeper we saw his vision and range of passing.

Coubilaly on the other hand demonstrated some skill but poor decision making and half interested getting back to defend. We can't afford that in the team.
