Murphy and Flynn were superb, they have been transformed since Nigel arrived. Braford looks an excellent player.

Hill is good solid cover as centre half.

I think we are going to have a good second half to the season. Let's hope so.

After his sending off I saw 10 players who showed responsibility, determination and graft - shame the 'captain' couldn't match it. Hopefully Clough will now realise it too.

He worst was the first half that single-handedly created the Rodallega chance that should have been a penalty. Totally needless. In shocking conditions you need your captain to lead by example - in play and attitude, he failed miserably.

Rather see him replaced altogether regardless of whether or not the more younger inexperienced players do the job or not. Like all the pundits said he is the captain and should be leading by example and this hardly the first time he has put shite performance in.

I've not seen the replay, but thought it was a red and even predicted it before it happened sat on John Street.

However the man has reacted, it was stupid and obvious.

Leave him alone or do him in a tackle = get away with it and have a greater chance of winning the game. Do it off the ball, on tv, just after you've had words with each other = stupidity.

I agree that maybe the player tried to get him sent off but as a captain he should not give him a reason to try and get him sent off.

He got the boy in a headlock, grabbed his face then took a layer of skin off his calf with his studs. How much further could he have gone with you in charge?
