I realise people don't have much time for Doyle sometimes , but yesterday he was absolutely brilliant .
For the first time in a long time he looked like a proper blood and thunder captain .

Well done sir .

As one of Doyle's critics I thought he was excellent yesterday as was all the others - but why can't they do it in the league ?
Yesterday Doyle, Flynn, Murphy, and Maguire put in top performances and despite his lack of pace Porter put in a great shift!

I though McGinn had a great game too ,covered a lot of ground , hit some great passes ,he and Doyle owned midfield.

I think Doyle's looked a lot better since Weir left. I don't think there was anyone yesterday who I'd say didn't have a good game.

Unfortunately for us, Weir and Robson, in the football sense were identical twins. Neither could appreciate that lesser players could replicate the thought and moves that came so naturally to them.
With hindsight, it is hardly surprising as neither ever played at the level that we are at. It must

But now, Mr Doyle and the other players have set the standards - the have showed us what they are capable of both in effort and ability !
