Stayed at the Copthorne when I came over for the reading game. I spoke to Kevin McCabe for a couple of minutes. He indicated that the players were pretty relaxed, saying that they were much less worried than the rest of us (the fans)

Am i the only one who picked up what he said in the after match interview?
He didn't say we want to get promoted but said "We want to win the league".
All i can say is the confidence must be sky high between the players but i do hope the footballing god's weren't tuned in.
Are you sure, I thought it was Norwood that said it. Whoever it was it’s great to hear their confidence. COYRAWW

Yes I heard him say that as well & I have to say it was refreshing to hear instead of the usual "we take one game at a time" mantra. I don't think it was said with arrogance either so no upsetting the football gods.

He seems one of the more sensible one on there, loads of posts.
And why would he say that ? It can only benifit us if true.
Interestingly they play Wednesday and Friday this week I believe against QPR and West Brom a draw and a defeat would be nice:)

They play Tuesday, not that it really matters. Would be nice if QPR could discover some form, but 7 defeats on the bounce doesn't bode well.

i think we will win the league.

on dowell, i would say he could cover the places of fleck and norwood if needs be. mcgoldrick and duffy can rotate as the number ten.

Michael Doyle said before the end of the 2011/12 season that not getting promotion isnt an underachievement for us. That made be boil! How could a captain say that?
