I think Dooley is great just because it winds up Wendy, I think it's even better that his grandson has acted like a twat and heaped more shame on them.

Pointing out a couple of stories about being "wronged" by Dooley, (coach and South Stand seats) carries no weight really, a lot of people connected with SUFC have done a lot worse....

Have to agree with the original post, that there are more deserving Blades heroes that could have had a statue dedicated to them than Dooley, such as Hagan, Gillespie, Needham, Foulke. To me it should have been a playing legend rather than someone on the staff side. As a few have said due to Dooley's standing on both sides of the city a memorial in the city centre would have been more appropriate.

I do like SwollEngland's suggestion that they should have a statue of Shred in the Car Park, no doubt with a pint in hand and adorned with the legend 'Portfield Out'.
