What an absolute bell end. Anyone with eyes can tell it’s a clear red card and no serious attempt to get the ball.

Tried to justify himself second half after the pundits all agreed immediately that it was a red and just sounded like a cunt.

Spent first 20 mins of second half saying how we did fuck all and that we should try to score more. Then was nearly silent for the last 10 mins as we coasted to a win.

He needs a chant of his own on Monday night…
"GOODMAN, WHAT'S THE SCORE? NOB DON GOODMAN WHAT'S THE SCORE?"

Commentators are almost universally shit, especially the co-commentators; just describe what's happening on the pitch, it isn't your job to tell me your opinion.

I don't think he's biased, just a bit rubbish. Rather than admitting he's got something wrong he just doubles down on it and waffles shit to try and justify it.

But to balance it out I thought Jobi McAnuff ( as he normally is) and Troy Deeney were excellent.

Not sure dragging Gary Johnson ( or was it Phil Collins?) out was a smart move though

Weren't we really close to signing him once ? I have some vague memory of some triple signing coup with him Paul Stewart and someone else, which fell through.

I told my wife it was Phil Collins when she asked, I'm not sure if she believed me or not

Bang on mate👍 utter bias twat!

He's an absolute whopper, and Gary Weaver just went down his cliché list and telling us the same anecdotes for the umpteenth time.

Gary Johnson looked like he'd just been wheeled out of home the fat little prick. Always hated him for some reason, and his son. But Jobi McAnuff is a good addition, just to add some positivity to my post

At the start of his (entertaining) Undr the Cosh interview, Goodman listed out a number of teams and said he wasn't biased against them, and then made the general point that he calls it as he sees it.

I try to give commentators the benefit of the doubt (well, not Sam Matterface) but it's getting ridiculous with Goodman. He always sets himself against us.
I like him tbh

Bit of a Panto villain but along with Hinchcliffe and Hendrie, clearly doesn’t like us much.
All three have said complimentary things about us - Hinchcliffe used to rave about us under Wilder # 1 - Goodman was extremely complimentary when we beat Weds 4-2 and in other occasions.

My first reaction last night was Pen but harsh Red - changed my mind at HT when I saw it a couple of more times

I’ve watched Benjamin Bloom’s watch along this morning and when he watched the incident he said ‘good tackle by Dickie’ at first then when he literally saw one replay immediately corrected himself to agree it was the correct decision - Goodman could easily have done that, fair enough if first time he thought it wasn’t a foul because he didn’t see the pull back, but after seeing it at least 10 times he still was insistent that he was right and ref was wrong.

I think someone from Sky had a word with him at half time as at the beginning of the second half he pretty much apologised for getting it wrong.

I've actually no idea who I was listening to yesterday, but the one thing that was noticeable was the pause from the main commentator every time after the co-commentator threw in a contribution. Generally, the co-comms was so lacking in cohesion there was no coherent way to respond or pick up on what had been said.

I've said this before, quite possibly on this thread, but at least Hinchliffe came by his dislike of us honestly. What's Goodman's excuse?

I don’t get the impression that Hinchliffe dislikes us to be honest.

I’d imagine Wednesday fans don’t really like him so can’t see him really having much of an affinity with them.

From Leeds. Supports Leeds. Other than that I have no idea?

It was bordering on the ridiculous last night.

The backtracking after the penalty was tremendous viewing. It went from:

“I DONT THINK THATS A PENALTY OR RED”

to

“well, yes. By the letter of the law, it was a red and a penalty, but surely it’s harsh given the circumstances”.

Fucking idiot. You’d think Sky and their upheaval of their current talent and a focus of getting Gen Z viewers will replace him with a Youtuber called “Blaize” or “Blazer”

DG is ridiculously anti-SUFC. Maybe his agent tried to get him to sign here and we mugged him off or something. I always watch any games on Sky on mute as DG and the pig AH can’t control themselves.

I think it's as much noticeable his silences. When the other commentator is saying something complimentary, he very rarely responds. I will accept I don't watch non-United games, so perhaps he is just generally a negative slant commentator

I remember when we played Sunderland away a couple of years ago, their RB smashed into Jebbo and it could've easily been a red card and a broken leg. Some of our players then squared up to the Sunderland player and guess who Donald took issue with.

Good job he weren't the ref last night - probably would have booked Kieffer for diving
