the sojourn into div 4 in 82 gave us blades the opportunity of the 92 league grounds just following us, now with 2 clubs changing into nationwide teams every season
the 92 is constantly changing
my 92 has seen 17 I visited are now non league or defunct

Darlington , Aldershot, Scarborough, Halifax , Torquay Hereford , Macclesfield LEAGUE CUP ONLY, Rochdale Hartlepool Yeovil Bury , sadly missed, Southend Oldham Scunthorpe York , Torquay and and rushden away in fa cup when they were a league club

theres quite a few new ones we have yet to play or we have missed as they didnt stay up

cant wait for owls to join the list
 

Do you only count grounds you have seen the Blades in ?
Ive been to around 65/70 Watching us
I once saw Aldershot play farborough town, christmas 1999 ......

Ive said it before on here , but surley im in a select few that saw us at the odsall stadium & the national hockey stadium
Im proud of that fact 😃

I saw us play Bradford at Odsal. Didn't make the hockey ground.
 
I did the MK hockey ground. I had a broken wrist so my mate (a Brummie) drove me. I'm 6'2 and 19st, and he made me look like a midget. We walked into the Currys store to ask if we could park there, they shit themselves and said no it was being locked. They went into a conflab to reconsider.
 
Of the current 92 I’ve done 87 watching United. I’m 5 off and I don’t think I’ll ever do it. I’ll be 7 off come the end of the season (6 if a team/ground I’ve done wins the National League plays offs). 8 (7) when Everton move… unless we go up.

I’ve no interest in doing the remaining ones without United.
 
I need a few in L2 which we will likely never get. Also never been to Southampton's St Mary's as we've yo-yo'd each other recently

I think I'm right in saying there are only 3 grounds in the current 92 that a Sheffield United XI have not played on.

Newport County
Salford City
AFC Wimbledon

Without checking, I assume then that we must have played at some level at Bromley. Under 18's?
 

I understand the ‘it doesn’t count if it’s not watching United’ sentiment, but for some teams that would make ‘doing the 92’ effectively impossible (I hesitate to say factually impossible given that cup competitions, promotions and relegations happen).

Which five are you missing
 
I haven't counted this season. I was mid-80s but the comings and goings on League Two have an effect.

I don’t count it even if watching United unless it’s a competitive fixture.
 
I did 57 until family came along but I lost the piece of paper I used to keep with my badge collection so can’t recall exactly where I was. Like you our foray int 4th coincided with me being ont supporters club committee and stewarding ont away coaches for HQ branch. The ones I’ve missed are in top two leagues now and lots have dropped out and new ones come in I’ve missed.
 
When the FA Cup started, it was seen as a farce which would never catch on, and would never replace friendlies organised by like minded clubs.

Yet. Now. We have the #GroundTick Police trying to enforce these shit shows as "competitive fixtures". 😱

I’m on 86 actually. Missing Wimbledon, Salford, Bromley, Barrow, Newport & Accrington.

I’ve possibly missed the opportunity to tick 1 or 2 of them off with u23 games or whatever.

I’ve done 9 in the National League.
