Seems JCR is a bit like marmite especially as a ball crosser, from what I saw the majority of his crosses were decent but made to look poor when no one got on the end of them, I seem to remember people accusing Paul devlin of a similar thing until the forwards made better runs, which showed dev's was I fact a decent winger and I think playing smarter strikers would pay a huge dividend in terms of goals.
Now on the minus side his apparent need to take on defenders 3 times cost him and us a lot of goals and as stated earlier if at times he took the defender and sent in an early cross we as a team would benifit greatly.
One more point, my personal opinion is play Murphy on his more natural right with whoever on the left maybe Harris then as Bob tires or we need a change drop JCR on switch Murphy to the left and let them swap n change at will, defences would be terrified IMHO.
Definitely give him a chance to impress under a manager known for getting the most out of players.
