I can't forget the number of times last season he started home games without a striker, the number of games I was bored shitless watching the crap performances, or the way he treated Collins when we were crying out for a centre half of any ability! But........

he gave us two semi finals to remember and a ply off spot. He did that without Billy, so for anyone to blame crap players for our current demise isn't quite right. With the current squad, I'm sure we would not have lost the same number of totally embarrassing defeats we have suffered under N.A.

I will give cloughie a round of applause on Tuesday, and wonder where we might be now with the benefit of hindsight???

Yes, we probably would have lost. But with Clough in charge, instead of Billy leading the line all season it would have been Sammon. Imagine that.
