Personally I do just to shut stop the gloatting about being the biggest most supported team in Sheffield but I can see why others would want them to stay up

one my dad mentioned: anyone remember 1968 last home game vs Chelsea to stay in the first division. He says wednesay fans were on the kop chanting for united to stay up because they wanted the derby as do many unitedites currently. However united fans soon chased them round infront of the cricket pavillion and into the Chelsea end, so they supported Chelsea. Just wondered if anybody could recall this

On balance yes, hope they go down. They are clearly the third worst team in the division as Palace would be well safe without the points deduction. Only advantage for the Blades is a full house for one match....cant see anyhting else we would want them to stay up for....can anyone else...hang on though what about the points?

I hope they go down and if we never had to play them again I wouldn't care one little bit.

I, along with many Blades hope to watch the pigs go through serious agony tomorrow and would piss myself laughing if they went down.

However, as every season goes past where we are not in the same division it gives us less chance of whupping their arse 5-0 so they can shut the fuck up about boxing day. I love the Derby matches and would rather play the pigs than Palace next season. I suppose that means I want them to stay up. But I don't! Oh I don't fluppin know!:confused::confused:

In a word Yes. I've realised something this week that I had suspected on occasions but never had any evidence for before. That is that quite a lot of neutrals have a soft spot for the unclean. Living at a distance from Sheffield I've not been listening to Wednesdayites or people just trying to wind me up but I've heard comments passed about how they hope Palace go down because they've always quite liked Wednesday. The misguided souls need to be disappointed I think.

Desparately. I live in Oughtibridge & I'm surrounded by them, owt that shuts them up a bit is great. And I HATE the derby matches, have never found them enjoyable experiences.

Woud that be before or after the Bastards bathed in acid ,not that i condone violence

As a Blade born and bred and schooled on Parson Cross I hate them with a vengance ,gob shites who only ever remember the facts that suit there own arguments and ignore anything else .

Do I want to see them relegated ?

I will give the answer me and the gang of lads I have known off the cross for years who were very much the minority in our early years gave to a kid in the Cricketers a few years back in the Bassett days who had come up to watch a game after getting hooked by the "United tv series

To a man we all answered in unison to his question did we want the pigs relegated?

"We would like to see em go out of feckin existance never mind relegated ":o

Do you want Wednesday down?

Is the Pope Catholic ?

^ That sums it up for me, and for the part about a full house. That dirty lot from up the M1 look like they'll be getting promoted so there's your full house(ish) next season.

As already answered in one of the other similar threads, I want Wednesday down, out of existence and us to be a single city team.

The full house at Bramall Lane will be replaced by a full house by weeds so they will not be missed.

50/50 for me. 50% says YES and the other 50% says YES, my misses says YES and my two sons say YES so I guess it's a ----------- YES.

Yes........... no .....................yes................can I phone a friend?
No you've used all your options.

Ok. Yes.
Final answer.
Final answer.

You've just lost £1m.

Weds won't go down. The footballing gods have been quiet this year but this is their one and only act. Following on from their survival, Prince Abdullah Mohammed Ahmed Alkatan from Oman will invest £300m and they will be promoted to the Premisership and within two yearts will be champions of Europe.

So what have you learnt from this? Well, never eat mushrooms out of your garden.

err, Yeh! definitely. I hope to God to see those CNUTS squeelin like F@~K.

Even if they go down they'll still be the biggest, most supported club in Sheffield.

I have a few different takes on this........

Yes, they must go down tomorrow, just to shut the horrible bastards up.

They must also go down to scupper any investment plans - this is the most important factor for me.

However, one day I would have no objections to seeing both Sheffield clubs in the Prem - on the proviso that they are always in our shadow.

down? i want them down and out.. if i were warren buffet i'd buy them and 'shut' them down.. just for spite like.. heh
remember how sorry hey felt for us when we were relegated..exactly

I'm not having that. I still want Sheffield FC to be alive ;), but the other lot from Sandygate can die along with their pig brothers .....

..... actually, I don't mind Hallam that much. The other insignificant set of shits in blue and white can die miserably as far as I'm concerned.

I want them to the kick bucket, shuffle off this mortal coil, run down the curtain and join the bleedin' choir invisibile!! THEY'RE ALMOST AN EX-FOOTBALL CLUB!!

I'm in two minds. One part of me wants them to stay up because my brother and mum are pigs but the other (vast majority) part of me wants to wake up and see the headline "Wednesday relegated after Jermain Johnson Own Goal".

The only reason I would want Wednesday to stay up is so we can royally spank them in both of the derbies so they might just shut the fuck up about Boxing day.

Their supporters individually can be okay, I'm sure we all know the odd one or two we would even permit in our homes, but en masse they are a bunch of bouncing cockends. I hope they do go down, I want to see the inevitable pictures of a child in a Wednesday shirt crying on the telly. I want all the Wednesday fans from politics to feel the gut wrenching awfulness of another relegation, especially those ex-council members who constantly backed everything the pigs did while simultaneously trying to stamp United into the mud. I want Joe Ashton blubbing, the twat.

I want people wondering why a crumbling Third Division shithole could possibly be considered for World Cup football. A shitty club in a shitty ground followed by inbred knuckle-dragging neanderthals.

Yes, I want them down. I want them non-league.

Get them down NOW!

As usual, 30-odd thousand will crawl out from under their stones and they will perpetuate this 'massive club' myth. Last time they averaged over 30k? In 1968. Do you remember the BBC shifting all their programmes in 2007 to show Blades v Wigan live? Me neither. Two hour phone-in on biased RS later.

That's not really the fault of the BBC, considering that Premier League matches are all on satellite telly - either Sky or the crappy other one. A bit unfair to blame the Beeb for not showing it. It's like blaming them for not showing Soccer Saturday.
