What with both BT Sports and ITV having the pick of around 4-5 seclections per round it is inevitable that the two huge all premiership ties will probably be picked up one each but that leaves a few openings. What with us officially being the lowest team remaining in the competition, the biggest giant beaters of the competition and the potential of Clough hosting the team who he and his dad are mostly associated with, well it ticks just about every single box and for me it is nailed on that once again the game will be televised.

I will be honest with you, against Fulham at home I have to say I was underwhelmed at the turnout but all things considering especially the financial side with it being the end of the month after and expensive christmas, I think overall the attendance was to be expected.

At Villa and at Fulham the fans made the game for me, I thought we were unbelievable! Sat where we are in the league and still enduring the same lows and suffering as we have done for the last few years I think once again we have shown the world just how passionate Sheffield United fans are. For me we are some of the best in the country, we turn up and we get behind the boys through thick and thin and we wanted to be heard so that people know we are still behind the boys and still believe bigger and better things are to come. Anyone who didn't go to thse games I will be honest with you in my opinion you have missed out on two games that I will definitely fondly remember for many a year to come. The atmosphere could have easily been likened to that in the highs of the triple assault season which is strange considering our league position but yet at the same time I don't expect anything less from our fans!.

So with this in mind I propose a poll..............

I will be at the game that is for sure, as much as it pains me at times I wouldn't have it any other way. The Tele box for me doesn't provide the same buzz as being pitch side. How about everyone else will you be there? Being honest would you opt for coverage on the old tele box?

Multiple responses are accepted in this one.

One thing you might not have factored into this is that for the neutrals, last nights game was absolutely shocking.

Very strange as there are three votes so far yet each represents 50% of the total votes - I'm sure it'll work out in the end! ;)

I'm going, regardless of being on TV or not.

It won't be on BT sport or ITV. Not sure about the BT sport 2 mentioned above. BT get a choice of 3 games in the 5th round, ITV get a choice of 2 and as previously said these have already been decided.

Be interesting if they move us to the sunday due to the pigs being at home. They won't be moved as tickets are already on sale for their fixture. Can't see us both playing on the saturday especially if Forest get through.

If, as seems very likely, the game is on Sunday, I think the club should do everything in its power to make it a 3pm kick off. An early kick off is bound to hit the attendance due to the clash with Sunday league football.

Suppose SYPD might have different ideas :(

I thought the games were all picked?

Sunderland v Southampton - Saturday 12.45 (BT)
Man City v Chelsea - Sunday 17:15 (ITV)
Everton v Swansea - Sunday 13.30 (ITV)
Arsenal v Liverpool - Sunday 16:00 (BT)
Brighton v Hull - Monday 19:45 (BT)

3 of those fixtures will have already been shown live once in 2014... Southampton will be delighted to go up there for a lunchtime kick off on a Saturday again I'm sure.

Oh look, 4 all premier league ties which we can see at any point in the season anyway, thanks TV bods

We've been on TV twice this round so I suppose the viewing public deserves a break from our ugly mugs!

Indeed.

Some neutrals were quite angry when we scored because they had been cheated out of the penalty shootout they had waited 120 minutes for.

Think it will be, we're the lowest ranked club, double giant killers. It's what the FA Cup is all about....

I can't bring myself to regard Fulham as giants. For most of my life they have been a rather quaint and inconsequential club. United have been much the 'bigger club' and still are in many ways. At the moment they are in the top league and we are not, but the wheel will turn.

The lazy, useless, ignorant hacks who make up 99% of the media invariably categorise clubs as "Premiership" [clubs that deserve my self-important attention] or "League Two" [beneath me - who are they?] etc. clubs as though such status is set in stone. It's not only irritating but also arrogantly superficial. It is their good fortune that hack reporters and commentators are not similarly categorised.

Only realised this morning I will miss it ,Fuerteventura next Thursday. Shit.

According to the FA website - we're on Sunday 16th

Tell you what may be interesting. Will we get more fans than Wednesday do for their FA Cup game? I'd wet mi Calvin Kleins if we did!
