While Blackwell did not want to sell two of his brightest prospects, he believes his summer recruitment will help the team cope.

Heard on Radio Sheff this Morning that Kyle Walker has joined up with the Blades after returning from the U19's Tournament

Mmmmm, it's always interesting hearing from supporters about we need this player or that player. We're short in this position or that position.

How many spotted the emergence of one Kyle, let alone two last season? Anyone even considered the possibility that the CB and striker cover might come from within (Wedgbury possibly, or how about Kyle2 actually playing in position at CB and young Connor Brown offering RB cover with Bromby? Robertson and Foster up front anybody?)

Having said that, I would just love a quality CM to emerge from the Academy. rather than another 6 RBs

Was right-back either Kyle's favoured position? I always thought KN was a RM and KW a CB by trade - it was just injuries and suspensions to fullbacks that paved the way for first team opportunities. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

Seems to me we still have to sort out Fortune and Carney, officially. I would imagine Sharp will go in this window if we can find a quality replacement, given that Robertson seems not to be included. Finally, I think we will need a new keeper as I would think there is more to Paddy's problem than a little cough medicine (hope I'm wrong).
