Do you know what? That'll do for me...

The only thing going in their favour really is that the way they play is suited for the EPL. They'd need both better defenders and to replace most of their creative players though.
What everyone said about us four years ago then
I wouldn’t be surprised if they do mid table first season three times out of four we’ve played them and they looked Quality and bar watching the defeats to Huddersfield n Bournemouth on tv all the other games and highlights I’ve seen have really impressed
If only we could have hit the QPR Fulham and Forest levels
consistently from January who know what would have happened

Can you remember in our first season back?
4pts off Chelsea
4pts off Tottenham
4pts off Arsenal
ee
Then last season we won at Old Trafford
a rare occasion
Watford Norwich and several more take 1 point if their lucky
2nd season we didn't beat any of the top 6 as man utd aren't in top 6

I expect from that lot they'll be able to get Garner on another loan, but would have to stump up £15m+ for Spence and £10m+ for Davis which will eat in to their budget massively.

They seem to rate Max Lowe too, if they think he is good enough for the Prem then they are in for a surprise but hopefully they stump up £5m+ to take him off our hands too.

Maybe they could surprise me, but I don't see anything unique about them which means they'll fare well. On paper our squad in that first year in the Prem was nothing special but we had our own unique style which gave us an advantage - Forest don't have that. They mainly look to hit teams on the break with pace. Premier League teams are well suited to managing that. They will be more Norwich/Watford than Brentford.
Max Lowe seems to have found his feet at forest. If they won't pay the fee we want then keep him we have a weakness at left wing back to fill.

It’s not an exact science but it shows that they’ve looked into it

This has been done by clubs for years for games which may end in a penalty shoot-out, and I can’t understand why any club wouldn’t do it. If Foderingham wasn’t provided with similar information (and I don’t know that he wasn’t - maybe we just used a different system for reminding him) then we started the shoot-out at a huge disadvantage.

I presume that we did something similar as well. We may never have known about Sambas bottle had they not won and had the fan not tweeted it when they went on the pitch.

I presume that the lad that skied his pen didn’t plan to put it so high

Ideally I'd have him come back into our side, but we already have two other LWBs who will be difficult to shift and Lowe is on decent money so will be available for sale.
