I'm not against beating them over 2 legs in the semis, that'd be plenty fun... but Wembley would be immense.
And if we lose? Nothing new there, water off a ducks back to us.
Who's he trying to impress ??With this
No. That playoff tier is just fantasy stuff, it's the line-up you'd want if you were Sky but it's not going to fall that neatly. With this
Beat them at Wembley with 70,000 pigs in there (500,000 locked out ) 6-0 and watch them say we were "lucky" "ref was biased" "should have had at least 7 penalties" " failure payments" "chansiri,s fault for not backing rohl in January" "spoozy bastards" " wind was blowing to strong" " EFL,s fault for not letting us spend what we want"I'm not against beating them over 2 legs in the semis, that'd be plenty fun... but Wembley would be immense.

No thanks, let's leave the playoffs to the likes of them and actually win the second tier for once. Get some proper silverware in the cabinet. We have, to my mind, been the most consistent team so far, even given our all-new, all-different squad and injury misfortune. We're in a great position - and if we get the right recruitment done in the next few weeks we can still turn it up several gears.Beat them at Wembley with 70,000 pigs in there (500,000 locked out ) 6-0 and watch them say we were "lucky" "ref was biased" "should have had at least 7 penalties" " failure payments" "chansiri,s fault for not backing rohl in January" "spoozy bastards" " wind was blowing to strong" " EFL,s fault for not letting us spend what we want"
Anymore ??

No point predicting owt till this window closes. No way the Wendy's make the playoffs .. why don't these people wait until the transfer window shuts then predict ??
I hope you're right. Personally, I think, if they hold on to their manager for the whole of this & next season, they will be play-off certainties at least. Really hope an Everton or West Ham or Leeds (Farke is hated) grab him soonest.Pigscouldn't win a 1 ticket raffle, let alone make the play offs

Not sure it's that crucial tbh. If we don't go up, it won't be because of the JTW, it'll be because of what happened or didn't happen in the summer. JTW is an utter lottery, you can't pin your seasons hopes on itNo point predicting owt till this window closes.
We currently need reinforcements for half the team , as there's very little info about the ones who are injured.
If we can replace Harry & Blaster with the same quality ,
plus cover for Souza & 2 goalscorers ,
we could win this league.
This is probably the most crucial January window under CW.
No point looking backwards to the summer window under a departing owner , it & he are history. Not sure it's that crucial tbh. I think people set their expectations too high with the JTW and then get angry when desired signings aren't made.No point looking backwards to the summer window under a departing owner , it & he are history.
You can only start from where you are.
If there was no JTW , our squad as it stands could not be expected to repeat its form of the first 23 games.
It would not get an auto spot and depending on injuries , might fall further down.
But , with enthusiastic new owners , if we can get strong reinforcements this month , there is reason to think we could get an auto spot.
Which means there is more hanging on this particular JTW than other JTWs under CW.
I accept that we'll never know until it's done , but there is reason for hope.
At least until 2nd February !
Well we certainly have our share of injury problems biting into our thin squad !I think people set their expectations too high with the JTW and then get angry when desired signings aren't made.
If this JTW doesn't work out. It probably won't be anyone's fault. That's just how the JTW rolls. So that's why I don't like it being called crucial. If you're a club who needs to do loads of business in the JTW, then there's a problem
